- Bought this blaster from iHobby.com.au.
It came over night under expressed post.
It looks good and feels good like the real thing.
However, not without problems:
7 out of 10 shells have razor sharp edges at the base. These shaved of the paint and also metal parts of the spring plate where the shell load.
The CO2 chamber is too tight. One of the two CO2 canisters got stuck and refused to come out no mater how I tried. I believe even if I could get this out (which is impossible now), the next time, it will have problem again. Note that is is the standard 12g C02 canister I bought from Tac Toy Darra. I have used them for my Golden Eagle mags and Tac Toys guys use them for their pistols and riffle blasters.
Hope this information help future buyers and hope that iHobby honours what it's doing.
I will keep you guys updated about the progress.
Cheers
thanks for the video, i was just about to buy one, not now ;)
we (bf n I had ) the same issue with a diff airsoft. The canister was 6 in inside, and the only way to get it out was to use a rubber jar opener and those medical needle nose pliers to grip and pull it out. We fixed it by using a rod with sand paper taped to get it wider, and after that they'd just fall out. Good thing the stock was polymer as metal would have taken much more time and elbow grease to sand down. Another trick is to use rip stop strip or some other strong and thin fabric and put the bottle and stuff it in a loop and leave the ends where you can get them, and use it to pull out the canister (like the battery strip / belt in rc vehicles used to pop out the ones deeper inside) next time.
I have also had problems with toys.
It's like a Maserati, you need 2, one to play with / use and on that needs repairs. When you buy cheap you get cheap.
I love these with their problems... I have 3 and can shoot all the time, it's still cheaper than one similar good quality one
Hey. How did you go with the return/exchange? Maybe you should make a video reviewing about the product and after-sale service as there are not many physical stores selling Gel Blaster products locally. It's good to know how the online stores are living up to their reputations. Thanks for sharing mate.
All non-refillable unthreaded 12g cartridges have the same dimensions. Most of the brands even use cartridges/tanks from the same manufacturer.
Yeah. The Double Bell Winchester blaster's listing on iHobby website did specify general 12g CO2 CARTRIDGE (with Puff Dino as recommended brand). The 12g cartridge I used is just a standard one.
Want dono puff
Did use worng co2 12
Is canister steel? What about magnet
....magnet bro!
We recommend drilling a hole with an extended drill bit and pulling it out. It's best to use a drill bit with a 3mm tap, and once the hole is drilled, tie a wire to the bolt, screw it in, and then pull it out. Once you have successfully tapped or drilled a hole, you can screw the wire into the hole, make sure it doesn't come out, and then pull it out.
😂maybey just ask Jesus to make it come out
Does shot far or not how. Long will shot out to
Price is almost too good to be true considering what you’re getting.
You need to use sand paper to sand it a little bit
I can help you fix that if you space some silicone oil inside it you'll be able to remove the CO2 valve you're not supposed to leave them in there three more than..
Its co2 but the box ticks gas
How long did you keep the CO2 canister in there for tho how long
Beim Laden der CO 2 Kapseln beide mit Tape zusammenkleben , dann gehen sie ganz leicht wieder heraus!
Hey buddy... i have same problem now... how did you fix this and how do you prevent it from happening again? TIA
did you find a solution yourself?
It just 12g CO2 I thing you tightening too much. And yes the paint will come off yes but that is just something with normal where
Get some sand paper
Cut it down to make a mares leg
The CO2 that you use is not the right size
I bought these from Tac Toys Darra. They use them for their Gel baster pistols and riffles. I also used them in my Golder Eagle mags. Tac Toys guys assured that they are the standard 12g canisters that have common diameter and suitable for Gel Blasters.
@@gotprobs85 for Double Bell brand product, Puff Dino will fit. Unfortunately, Double Bell product will not able to take the one that you use, it just bit too big.
@@jianachen2203 No this is completely wrong. I just used a micrometer to measure both of the cartridges. They are exactly the same size in every way. They are identical except for the brand names. I will make a video to help people comparing them too. Will do this sometime to make sure people know about this.
@@jianachen2203 Man, you must be joking. I have been using Umarex 12g Carbondioxide cartridges for my Double Bell Glock Atomic and it works great (Both Green or CO2). If your comment were true, it would turn off all buyers as it would be too limited to use just one brand of gas. Just my 2cents.
@@dannievi1070 Yeah, the canister size is the same. I did use the micrometer to measured them this morning. They both have the same dimensions. The width/diameter are both about 18.5mm. You can't tell them apart if looking from the back side with no labelling on. One can't say the canister I use is bigger than the Puff Dino brand canister. I hope iHobby won't use this silly excuse as I was told they are very good with after sale. I will just wait for their response. Will let you guys know the result. Finger crossed!
Ffs you turn me off buy one mate now look like you got bad one or I don't know be sure
i was to order one, but seeing these issues, im not sure, thanks for the vid, very awesome and clear, very expensive toy , it is
They good now I got mine and just use it right man and not use wrong CO2 12...
