People have been asking and requesting a weight training session. So here is one. Never did a real time voice-over on my videos so this felt like a perfect chance to try it out.
Forgot to mention that I really surprised myself because I have not been training heavy squats recently. Only had a couple light weighted squat mobility sessions two and three days ago to heal up my right knee, which felt bad from too much tricking lately. Yesterday was a full rest day so it had time to get better and today I felt very good. Recovery is so important.

Great content man! What a good role model for younger trickers. Your really showing how strength training can have such good benefits for tricking, love that!
It's good weightlifting content on its own too I think. 👌

I have been surprised how little trickers are interested in heavy lifting. It's such a hugely beneficial thing to do but not many people do it or care about it.

Hey Johzuke! I recently started lifting to better prepare my body to handle tricking, what do you think are good goals to aim towards on exercises like squats and deadlifts? For context, I've always tricked on grass and couldn't ever stay consistent due to injuries and mental blocks and now I finally have access to a gym twice a week, so I wanna make sure I can fully utilize it 😂

Hey, I would just aim to improve your 1 rep max, 3 rep max and 5 rep max on both of those exercises. Test them and start improving. On squat you get most benefits when you are focusing on your form and mobility training too. If you are a beginner it's so much fun because you should be progressing very fast if you approach your training right and with little but consistent increases in the weights you do. Low reps are the key.

Do you have a program, a video, or a plan that shows a bit of your training to improve your tricking ability? In any case, what you do is very interesting. I have been trying for years to build a workout program to improve my power and mobility in tricking, to be much more flexible, have more power, and achieve more beautiful movements, faster spins, etc. Thank you.
