- Hi Lovely! Come along with me to the market for my scrunchie small business! It's a windy setup and start to the day but we make it through. 💖 We take a tour around the market and I take a time lapse of my stalls foot traffic throughout the day, and discuss some sales?? 💗
✨ Some info about my small business:
The Eighth Salt. is my handmade small business where I make and sell scrunchies & key chains as well as hair claws, makeup hair clips & hair accessories through my shopify website and trading at markets. Our focus is using materials and fabrics that are sourced locally from Sydney and Australia, making us ‘Locally Sourced and Locally Made’! We trade at markets 2-3 times per week including some night markets, so come, stay & join us as we take you along the journey!

Do you just wait for customers to come up to you when they are ready to pay or do you greet them and interact with them when they enter your booth? I'm just curious because some customer don't like to be bothered and some just love to talk to you and ask questions before they buy.
I’m a very chatty person and love talking and interacting with my customers. I almost always greet them when they walk-in and sometimes when they are standing in front of my stall looking to see if they want to walk in and browse. 💖

Thanks Lovely 💖 I used to only take water too and buy my lunch and snacks at the markets however this year I have been taking packed lunches so I’m not away from my stall for too long 🩷
