- Hi friends, I've missed yall! This week's video is a productive study vlog, in which I prepare for my dosage exam! Every semester, we have to take a math exam for nursing school and pass with a 90% or more. Spoiler alert... I failed my first attempt this semester. I made simple rounding errors, but I didn’t let it discourage me too much as I immediately signed up for my second attempt afterwards. It’s okay to fail sometimes. We are all human! I NEVER had a problem with my dosage calculation exams until this semester, senior semester. It's like where did these problems come from LOL. Go back! But seriously I just randomly found your channel this morning and I love it. Never really cared for the perfect nursing school vloggers who pass everything the first time or have that perfect study routine because it's definitely not the case with every nursing student. We all accidentally crash and take naps or feel like there's no time. Hang in there, we've made it this far!!
Yess haha you would think we would be an expert on dosage questions by senior year! 😂 but I definitely agree that nursing school is different for everybody! I try to embrace failures because they help us grow. Let’s work hard and have a great semester! 💪🏼

Congrats on it being your senior year!! I really like your attitude even though you did not pass your first attempt with your dosage cal test. I am so nervous about taking ours next month because I tend to make careless mistakes in math. We get two tries and it’s 10 questions and we get an hour to take the test. Like you, I’ll be doing tons of practice problems and fingers crossed 🤞🏽
Yess practice problems are the best way to study!! Believe in yourself and you can achieve anything! It's totally normal to be nervous before exams, especially if there's only 10 questions. Take your time and read each question carefully! You got this 💪🏼

omg I failed my first attempt of my dosage cal as well.. I rounded wrong and I miss interpreted the information wrong... my teacher did a review of my exam so now i'll retake next thursday =( ...
Mistakes happen, we're all human! I'm glad you got to review your exam so now you know what to focus on when studying for the second attempt. I highly recommend doing a lot of practice problems! You got this!! 💪🏼

Fortunately I passed on my second attempt heh 😄 and yaaay for science! Im glad you didnt experience any major symptoms!! I had a sore arm for 2 days but that was it. I’d take a sore arm any day if I can help decrease the spread of covid and fight this pandemic 💪🏼
