This loss is definitely more on the coaching staff than Williams. True, he was bad until the 4th quarter, but with the game on the line he stepped up and put them in a position to win. Not every QB has the ability to do that. Us as fans are acting like he's a 5 year veteran and need to remember that he's a ROOKIE. Even the best QBs have ugly games, but at the end of the day it's all about winning games not individual stats.

Olin, I just don't understand how a player is going to stand up and state clearly what he missed or did wrong when the Head Coach DOESN'T. Can you explain what that does to the players and the locker room? Eberflus' pressers/interviews have become unwatchable. Nothing is ever done wrong for which he takes responsibility -- and there was MORE than one thing wrong in that Washington game. Also, what will happen to the players if the HC does not impose some kind of discipline on what Stevenson was doing with the crowd on the last play? What if Stevenson is allowed to get away with "I'm sorry, it won't happen again" and some chewing out by players, captains, and coaches? Would the locker room be even listening to Eberflus? Do you think they're listening NOW? P.S. I totally agree that Caleb has done everything asked of him and far more! I can't believe he has much respect for Eberflus based on how his HC speaks and behaves.

I think one of the most annoying things about Flus... He refuses to step in when his OC is calling something stupid. No one fucking cares how many times you've practiced that play. A run to the fullback who is ur backup guard CANT BE THE CALL in that crucial of a moment. It just fucking can't. You have to check ur play caller when that is their idea. That's part of being HC. You have to make the tough decisions. Flus, at the end of the day... If Waldron doesn't pan out... That's ur ass. Do you want to get fired? Do you really want to lose your job after the amazing job you have done with the defense? Bc you are not getting a 3rd crack at it. No one on ths planet, even Ryan Poles, is going to give you 3 swings at the right offensive coordinator. I hope he understands this. Bc if not.. his ass is cooked. Ben Johnson would love to coach someone like Caleb, i can promise you that. If the Bears domt make the playoffs... Im rooting for the Lions. Why? Bc if they win it... The chances are high that Ben J will feel like his job is done there and will seek a bigger challenge. What bigger challenge than finally bringing a functioning offense to the Bears lmao.

Two things can be true at once.. Fields had moments when he held too long and didn't see it well enough. But the o line also is not good enough. I pray they invest everything into o line this upcoming off-season. But it sucks we can't watch good offense consistently this season bc the defense is elite and that is clear. Why did the coaches all Scary Terry to go uncovered and gain 15. If he is covered the Hail Mary never happens! Why did no one in the booth see Stevenson being an idiot and call a timeout? Why did we run the ball with a olinemen. One play did not lose the game however they multitude of play calls and coaching decisions absolutely did. If any one of those 1 things is different we win.

When will they realize a 3-17 road record just might be, not good enough ? When will they realize, the Bears are a undisciplined football team ? When will they realized Flus is not a very good head coach ???

On a Hail Mary, why don’t they put the tall tight ends in the end zone? They put all the little DB’s in the end zone. Why not have the little fast DB’s chase the QB?

Daniels looked really impressive maybe he on the percs like rodgers ha! But I’ve been saying eberflus is not it! Too many of these sort of loses, I could name handful over last few seasons. But it’s not just that. We need a coach that can get offense to play at high level all 4 quarters period!

Going into the season, I was anticipating a run first, play action second, throw third offense.
The times they've had success this is what they've been doing.
This OC is like the last one, he's trying to be "too cute", 6 games in, and refuses to adapt. Awful.

How do you explain the sideline protection call just before halftime to prevent the Hail Mary but not when the game is on the line? Then on the hail Mary play at the end of the game, they have a fourth pass rusher drop back as a spy? Are you kidding me? I disagree with all this talk how the Bears didn’t earn or deserve to win the game. That’s nonsense. The Bears defense did a great job on Daniels all game long. The Bears had the opportunity to take control of the game, but made a boneheaded play call handing the ball to a lineman!?? Once again, this is coaching. Are you kidding me?

Not sure why they just allowed Daniels to just stand back there for an hour with no pass rush in that final play. Rush with 3 defensive lineman and a quick corner that can get to the QB and pursue if he escapes the pocket. I absolutely hate prevent defense and you put 4 tired fat guys up there to rush one of the fastest QBs in the league. Just a bad defensive mentality.

Was he really that bad??? Or is it the lack of not knowing what and how the plays break down. Ask an around, and review the game tape. His decisions prevented them from losing by a lot more. He can't block for himself or the running backs. He can't fight to get open to recieve a pass. That's on the recievers. They have to better against better competition. No excuses.

Didn’t play well for 3 quarters. Played really well in the 4th and to give you the lead on the last two drives. Jayden played o.k. At best. There was nothing special at all he did yesterday. Very average performance. If everyone wants to crown him for completing a fluke pass at the end with virtually zero pressure (forget the holding) then that’s fine. It was a defensive game through and through. Both teams gave each other a ton of chances to run away with it.
