@fourty5mag Thanks I love GFR too. I found someone on RUclips who is from Sweden that builds the Grand Fuzz pedal. I had him build me one. It's very cool.
Nice! Great job! Love the tone of the Messenger - mellow yet fiery when it needs to be! I'm also a big GFR fan and have a lot of bass covers on my channel.
nice job, nailed it. love this song and gfr, they kept their songs pretty simple, not stepping on their amazing vocals and melodies, and their verse, bridge, chorus transitions are just brilliant, always building tension and release.
Great job. I learned and could play the bass part a long, long time ago around 1980. I haven't tried to play it in years. Anyway, you sound fantastic. Again, great job!!!
The guitar is an Eastman Messenger. It is an inexpensive copy of a Messenger (made my Musicraft in the 1960's....Google it) in looks only. The original Messenger is very rare and came with an all aluminum/magnesium neck and single coil DeArmond pickups. Mark Farner's Messenger also had a built fuzz which can be heard on all the early records. The Eastman doesn't have the aluminum neck and has hum buckers, so it looks like a Messenger, but doesn't sound like one.
Memory of my favorite band growing up..so u can figure out how old I am...u got the same guitar Mark had..great job
