- How Michael Jackson arrived at Ballinacurra House, Kinsale, County Cork in Ireland to write what would become his last album. This clip shows how he charmed the locals and how he warmed to them.
I used to see him regularly in Ballinacurra .... I had land rented near the house and I remember him bringing the children out to the fence to see my tractor working, we didn't hassle him though, I just waved to him when I saw him and he always waved back. He came there for peace and I wasn't going to deny him of it. The people around never told outsiders where he was.
people like you make me proud im irish too, the man was a human being who couldn't as much as go buy a coffee in a shop in america without it meaning he would be hounded in somewhere and need instant secret service security lol. Fair play for keeping it quiet 🙂
Being Irish, its rather nice to know that Michael loved Ireland.
yes he was looking to buy a house there for his family and the press wasnt all over him there that was his escape from madness

He really should have stayed there and just made a quiet life. LMP had England...he should have had Ireland.

True but they put him in a financial corner with that farce of a trial & he needed to earn money and all his work was in the United States. He tried to work in Bahrain but it didn’t work out.

A lovely report about Michael visiting with his family. He required more of this "down" time to relax and think. Although he was an American born and bred, they were not kind to Michael. He would have been made more welcome in lots of other countries. MJ for ever.

Seeing this video made me cry... I just was in Ireland, Dublin last week... saw a lot of the country and I do understand why he loved it so much. I wish he would have stayed there... things might have not happened. :'( This is killing me!
Moonwalking in the moonlight? That would have been beautiful and heartbreaking to watch...kind of like the "Starry Night" painting. So lonely but so beautiful.
Am glad MJ and his kids cld find refuge there. He certainly deserved some peace. Makes me smile picturing him sitting in his bedroom watching the kids play.

I've been to Ballinacurra House a few times. It's outstanding!! Perfect place to escape to and enjoy the town of Kinsale. The proprietors and their family and staff are the greatest!
A truly poet ... he wrote a lot of songs about dancing at night ... he was sincere about his art. ❤️

Why is having the lights on outside in the garden odd? I thought that was beautiful. He was dancing in the peace of the night among nature being inspired no doubt. People can be so foolish when they speak of him. Michael you are now at peace dancing among the stars and the moon.

What a privilege this Irish family had. I would had loved to see him walking in the moonlight. I only wished he would had found his soul mate on earth. I think life would had turned out differently for him.
His soul mate was music and his purpose was children & making the world better.. he had no time to do justice to a relationship

You could say Michael was being watched, but we wouldn't know about this magical moment in the moonlight otherwise, would we? More importantly, Michael thought he was alone, so it didn't bother him.

Thank you ireland for giving this divine being michael peace n privacy. Ireland is so beautiful so as irish people. Devils jealousy haterd racisit people tortured angelic michael they killed him. When he was in ireland he was eating brething playing dancing recovering feeling safe without his body guards. When he moved to america he just couldnt take that negativity again and gone too soon. Michael we know you were god's beautiful angel. You will always forever live in peoples hearts n your art work words messages legendry legacy will never ever die.
