Tracy, I am sending warm thoughts your way. I was a patient on a COVID unit this January/February (Cleveland Clinic). I was fully vaccinated but still got sick and it gave me Myocarditis. It was nurses like you who helped to keep me alive, and after I was out of the woods, they did everything they could to help me feel better. I am SO thankful for you and for everyone who does your job❤️ Doctors are awesome but it’s nurses who made the biggest impact on my quality of life while I was in the hospital. You will always be my hero 🙏

I’m glad you mention Aerin. Not mentioned much in the frag community and it is a great house! I recommend Tangiers Vanille. Underrated and it is such a nice, pretty office friendly vanilla. To beef it up, I layer with Lune Feline💐💖🤗
Welcome back! Love vanilla fragrances and would also recommend Vanilla Diorama. Similar to Feve but the dry down is all about the vanilla. Thanks for sharing your faves!
My absolute favorite vanillas are Nuit et Confidences, Spirituese Double Vanille, Cuir de Nuit- Yves Rocher, Kayali Vanilla 28, Vaniglia Mazzolari, Fire at Will - Javoy Paris, and Contre Moi Louis Vuitton. Im sure there are more that I'm forgetting, i LOVE LOVE Vanilla fragrances!
Ooh did you ever get a chance to smell Yves Rocher Vanille Noire? Discontinued around 2016/17, but amazing predecessor to Cuir de Nuit. Boozier and less powdery.

I stumbled onto your channel today and really enjoyed your video! I have a couple you mentioned and need to get my nose on that guerlain as well as the black bottle that you mentioned being the best performer... I wouldn't typically recommend something impossible to find but since you already went there (lol) I HAVE to say that L'Artisan Parfumeur Vanilia (not the Vanille Equisse) from their ORIGINAL line up is one of THE best vanilla fragrances I've ever tried... You can still find them floating around online from time to time, and I do think it would be an OK blind buy for you... It's SLIGHTLY boozy with a WISP of ylang and a TOUCH of clove but it is REAL vanilla and it's beautiful... I think some sandalwood drydown... Give it a try!
Have you tried Mercedes Benz club black..its probably overlooked by females due to it being a car company fragrance but its a wolf in sheeps clothing..I would love to know what you think because its a gourmand straight vanilla thats definitely unisex. I just bought DUAs vaniglia dream which is a blend of Mazzolari Vaniglia and Tihota and its so intoxicating..i layer it with side effect and its the best thing ive ever smelled😊I think you should definitely try MB and Either Mazzolari Vaniglia or DUAs version ..its got 3 notes vanilla, caramel,and orchid.
Great list! Out of these 20, I've smelled 12. Un Bois Vanille, Notorieta, and OK Fine Fragrances vanillas are so good. I have several samples of their vanilla bourbon in oak, but a full bottle of their vanilla rum. Yum.

I love SDV on other people but it is so fleeting on me, the vanille only lasts a few minutes and then it's gone. Thankfully their L'Initial works pretty well on me. Organza Indecence radiates some vanilla with cinnamon but it's tough to get anymore. Thank you for this list, it gives me more to explore!
A couple of my favorites that aren’t on your list are Initio Absolute Aphrodisiac, Guerlain Angelique Noire, and Givenchy Organza Indecence (which I almost forgot to mention until I saw someone else bring it up in the comments. It’s unreal, but becoming difficult to find). I am sure you’re probably familiar with the Angelique Noire and Organza Indecence. If you haven’t smelled the Initio yet, you should try to get your nose on it because I think you might like it.
I love a long list with so many options, especially a few I've never heard of! Thank you for representing different types of vanillas here. The hunt for the "perfect" vanilla is an endless adventure that I've been on for many years. I had a sample of Vaniglia del Madagascar by Farmacia SS. Annunziata for a long time (which Chris from The Perfume Nest recommended), and only recently tried it out. It's the closest I've ever found to a realistic, delicate, straight forward vanilla, and it smells so refined to me. Delicious and gourmand adjacent, but without being one-dimensional, overly sweet, or plasticky. That same day, when I searched the internet for any website that carried it, I found out it had already been discontinued 🤦♀️😭. Supposedly their replacement vanilla smells similar, but I'm still hoarding my old sample.
Love Nuit et Confidences & Étoile d'Une Nuit from Goutal! Recently picked up Angelique noir, hoping to find a deal on SDV! I have so many niche perfume and vanilla lace from Victoria’s Secret is still my favorite. I really wish they would bring it back.☹️
I was a new subscriber shortly before you took your break and you had become one of my favorite fragrance reviewers. You have a natural and comfortable presence in front of the camera. Your Halloween video brought me joy at a time that I needed it But I'm so glad to see that you took the time to take care of yourself. That sets a great example and I'm so glad to see you feeling better. Your video quality is unchanged and a real pleasure. I'm sure you aren't looking for advice but if you've never tried a light box for Seasonal affective symptoms they can work great. My husband used one for many years. He set it up in his office and had it on while working in the early morning, but it can be at.vanity while getting ready etc. Needs about 20 minutes and no glasses. I don't know the current cost but I it was the cost of a bottle of niche perfume back then. Good luck and stay well.😊

Serge Lutens un bois vanille is one of my favorites, as well as kayali vanilla 28 and Tom ford vanille fatale. Have you tried Perris Monte Carlo Vanille de Tahiti? It’s my current fave right now. Just got a full bottle and I am so in love 😍
Gonna add Ok Fine fragrances VRO - vanilla rum in oak Becuse it’s such an amazing summery rum vanilla. Have to get my nose on VBO, though. Also PAO, the patchouli in absinthe is a stunning vanilla patchouli that I just love on cold winter days 🥰

Serge Lutens un bois vanille is one of my favorites, as well as kayali vanilla 28 and Tom ford vanille fatale. Have you tried Perris Monte Carlo Vanille de Tahiti? It’s my current fave right now. Just got a full bottle and I am so in love 😍
Gonna add Ok Fine fragrances VRO - vanilla rum in oak Becuse it’s such an amazing summery rum vanilla. Have to get my nose on VBO, though. Also PAO, the patchouli in absinthe is a stunning vanilla patchouli that I just love on cold winter days 🥰
