  • Replacing a carrier bearing and u-joint on a 2006 Tundra Double Cab 2wd.
Bearing: Spicer 5002334 purchased on Ebay for 85.15
U-Joint: Spicer grazable purchased at O'Reilly for $25
    Tools
    O'Reilly Ball Joint/U-joint Press 67045
    Puller 2/3 Jaw Puller 5 Ton 67021
15/16 Socket needed to get the nut holding the yoke.
    Filmed on iPhone 11
Good luck!. Took me 3.5 hours total with a run to O'Reillys in there. Just replace the u-Joint, should have purchased that first. Getting the u-joint re-inserted took a lot longer than I think it should have, just squeeze it in and get the lock washer in. I was worried about using too much force. Just do it.

it’s an awful job and my phone was dead. Make sure you have the truck chocked in place before you pull them since park won’t hold it still without a drive shaft.
