- We tried Cachapas, a Venezuelan pancake recipe from MasterChef Australia contestant Antonio. And we thought the cheesy and sweet combination is delicious.

He used the combinations of the cheeses because it is the only way to be as near as the flavor of our venezuelan cheese. That is something you will not find in Australia.
One day we have to travel to Venezuela to taste the original 😊
Strong coffee sounds great! ☕️
Good job mate!! I hadn't seen video till now! Glad you enjoyed making them!
Thank you!!
Yeah, it's a good version, softer and more elegant but surely just as delicious of our Venezuelan cachapa. Adding brown sugar, that was a great idea, we also like brown sugar better.I will try this recipe from our friend Antonio, I'm proud of him to put our country on high with this wonderful dish. Thanks for doing it, I'm glad you like it! I hope 'la Cachapa' invades every place in Australia, no one resists its flavor, Wohooo!🙌💃 Greetings from Cumaná, Venezuela!🤗❤VE
Thanks for the comment about the brown sugar!
If the corn is just tender enough you won't need flour, milk or eggs, the best cachapas are just corn and a little bit of sugar
We have to try with the tender corn and see if we can get it right!
Cachapa ARE 😻 Delicious!!
Yes they are!
For the next time, to prepare the mixture: grind the fresh corn, drain it a little through a mesh, add sugar to taste, a pinch of salt and a little melted butter. This is how the original mix of cachapas is prepared.❤
Thank you, we will try it this way.
ricassss las cachapas venezolanas
😊
Instead of wheat flour is better to use arepas cornmeal mix
Thanks for the tip, we have to check if we can find it over here
@@traditionalbutnot7793 it's not difficult at all to find here in Australia, most places with latinamerican products sell it
Although I’m Australian, we actually based in Austria / Europe 😊 but we might find it over here too
Son feas esas cachapad, deben quedar bonitad y sabrosas
It was our first try, we will do better on the looks next time. The taste was good anyways 😊
Don't puuuttt flour .... Only The corn with milk a little of salt and sugar no eggs neighter ..thats a subject ..we hace variations
😂 okay we see, we have to make some more versions of it
Thank you for cooking this recipe from my country! I think it has to do with the type of corn you find in other countries. Venezuelan corn is more firm and doesn't need flour or eggs to get density.❤
Thank you for the explanation 😊
@@traditionalbutnot7793You're very welcome sir!😊
That's an Australian version of Cachapas 😅
Sin queso de mano no es cachapa.
Can you send us the recipe for handmade cheese? We would definitely try it 😅
