This is one of my favorite Animaniacs segments. However, I noticed a couple things that didn't appear in the final cut. For example, Yakko never mentioned helium in the episode's final cut. He just mentioned "hot air" for what I can remember
Amazing work, to you Ron, Animateducated, and the rest of the lovely folk at StarToons!! Its very amazing these were kept and preserved, very fun to watch and theyre really educational! Was curious, would there any way for you to transfer the copies of the pencil tests you have? Also curious, I know these were shot on film (I assume 35mm) and then telecined to tape, so I was wondering if the ones you have are on tape or on film? Either way, its still amazing to hear you have em!
Amazing pencil test! And an amazing find! I may be a year and a half late but why not? I found this while looking up an animator named Al Chiarito. A guy who got his start working for Terrytoons in 1949 and ended his career working for Startoons. He was a huge mentor to Kirk Tingblad. Who also animated on this! I also love the animation in this one. The Startoons guys and the folks over at TMS in Japan were certainly the best of the best! And thank you to both AnimatedEducated for uploading this and for Ron Fleischer for shooting this wonderful pencil test. Kudos to all of ya’ll and the rest of the fellers over at Startoons International. Oh, and an additional thanks to the South Korean ink & paint artists and the camera operators over at Kinetics for shooting the cels onto the film ^^
Thomas: Shut up, Mr. Bloski!!! No wonder Yakko, Wakko and Dot were annoying you! You have been very rude and arrogant, even worse than Gordon and James! At least Gordon and James are more respectful and caring towards us, unlike YOU!!! (Blows steam at Ivan Bloski)
To be honest, Startoons and that one that animated most of King Yakko/S1E10 are better than TMS. Most 90's drawings that are bad makes it good to me. Take American Sonic or Fat Pikachu for an example. But when it's good, it some how feels like... Too good for my liking? I don't even know what I'm talking about. It really is my "90's art charm" some people sometimes talk about.
Esta es una prueba de lápiz de animación para asegurarse de que todo se mueva correctamente de un plano a otro. Esto fue de un episodio en el que trabajé de Animaniacs.
I recorded them onto VHS tape when I worked at the studio that was making them. Wanted to show future animation student how we animated with pencil and paper.
6:12 Sir Topham Hatt: Of course they were! And that’s what you get for being so rude, so arrogant, and so disrespectful to everyone, including the Warners! You are always thinking you are more important, but you are wrong, as you are equal to everybody else IN THE WORLD!!!
7:29 The Warners’ reaction to Mr. Rude accidentally pooping himself…
…or Gru sitting on the toilet!
Seeing original production footage any 90s show feels surreal as a 2000s kid. You guys did a really good job on this!
Well I'm glad I kept these all this time to share with you and others that appreciate the material as much as I do!
I was also born in 2000 as well.
I was born In 2003

7:06
Bloski: I’d rather be eaten by cannibals than be your special friend
Yakko: I think that can be arranged
Homer Simpson: WHY YOU LITTLE!!! (Strangles Ivan Bloski)
Yakko, Wakko and Dot: (laughing)
Animaniacs in the Multiverse!
Crazy the Warners' whiskers weren't added in all of the scenes
Send in the Disney Lawyers!
3:19 I love how he shushes at Yakko significantly longer than at Dot
One of the earliest episodes I've seen of this show
6:21 "you heard her Mister Mad Man, air crafts have no jail, everyone knows that!
I'm hoping I can keep these videos up and running with no copyright infringement issues.
Is you a brother of Jon McClenahan, or not?
7:17 - 7:37
20 seconds summed up to a T when I give someone another chance and they blow it instantly
5:40 We have no taste but we like you
8:42 *Certainly, my son*
I shot these. All the shows that StarToons animated were shot as pencil tests like this from beginning to end. I have them all somewhere.
That's right, Ron was the number one camera person at StarToons at the time! Thanks Ron!!
Amazing work, to you Ron, Animateducated, and the rest of the lovely folk at StarToons!!

Holy crud! I never knew this was on RUclips! This is amazing!
It is now for the moment and glad you like it!
For some reason,Yakko's voice is higher pitch than in the final cut
Yeah, I noticed that, too.
Same here.
I think it's PAL pitched
6:42 I can clearly hear Dot's yell through the howl.
Fun fact: The first half of Plane Pals was mostly animated by Spike Brandt and Jeff Seirgey.
And Another fun fact; Can you find Animators Spike Brandt, his wife and Kirk Tingblad in the beginning Airport scene.
@@heyjimr No. Where?
@@heyjimr I Found 'em!
Spike Brandt and his wife reading a magazine, while Kirk Tingblad talks with his son!
Th-th-th-th-th-th-that's really, folks!
Hey! What the?! Say excuse me!!
These are so awsome to see hopefully they are more of them
Hey! Thanks for saving this pencil test!
Glad you enjoyed seeing it!
At around 6:05 why does Yakko has Wakko’s voice?
Eva, you are the great. Nobody caught that mistake after all these years. I think they never changed it too in the final color pass..

I can hear the loud background music and cartoonish sound effects in my head already.😂

With King Yakko you mean Wang right?
Wooooooow! Good animated work!
Nurse get over here now!
10:54 Xenograph, I assume
i love this
Isn’t that Jeff Bergman doing the voice of Mr. Bloski?
George Dzundza
@@guest19901990 I only ask because he sounds like George Jetson and Fred Flintstone at times.
I'm not up on my voice artists. Does anyone else know?
6:09
Men. Go fig.
Yakko and dot really sound like kids
The moral of the story: Always accept the refund.😂
8:32 This is so funny 😂
While Yakko's and Dot's voices are higher-pitched than the final version of the episode, Wakko's voice hasn't been sped up yet.
6:02 nooo my wakkykins curse you hello nurse

Wow!!! Any pencil tests of the Minerva Mink eps? Even the ones where she has cameos?
I don't think the studio I was at did any of those episodes.
@@heyjimr Oh. I didn't know that. thx for telling me. Where else can we find pencil tests of Minerva Mink. And which other studio did they do MInerva?
