It’s so funny because it’s so true. I don’t know how many times I’ve been to church and people be looking at the clock making sure they stay on time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was my favorite "didn't get the script" that they've done so far. They built in some pretty good twists into the story, and Matt was hilarious to watch as he fumbled around trying to figure out what was going on.
@@grandmatildyfromtennessee4605 the rest of the team is locked in to their lines; there's no deviation. The sketch with Mallory not "in the know" was the same script
First the first minute or so of the sketch I kept wondering when Matt was gonna show up, but turns out it was him the whole time?!?!? He looked so different without his signature clock necklace.
If anyone wants to know what being autistic in social situations feels like: this is it. The general confusion and guesswork Matt encompasses as he tries to work out what people are talking about and expecting of him is a pretty spot on representation.
Another great thing about this movie is the amazing artists they got to make the soundtrack and slowly realizing the songs before makes me wanna watch more than anything else
Poor Mr. Matt! I really appreciate how he was so close to God in that last line. Mr. Matt, if you're reading this, I just want to let you know that I really respect you and all the cast members of Studio C and JK! Studios. I hope that one day, I will be able to meet you in person, but that's entirely up to God. May He bless you all! Everyone, I hope that you have a wonderful, blessed day!
Love it! I have only one critique to these didn't-get-the-script sketches, and it's that I'd like to see more "setup" and less "entrapment" from the base script. Prompts like "isn't your outfit missing something?" and "I think it's time for your eulogy" give a lot of freedom to the improv-ing actor, and it's always fun to see how they "Yes, and..." to roll with it and create something funny. But prompts like "please repeat that alliterative poem to a song you used to do" always feel like they're putting the actor on the defensive. The sketch switches from laughing with the actor to laughing at the actor, and I feel that content isn't always as funny to me. In contrast, I suspect prompts to have Matt retell more of his favorite Marcus stories would have created some serious comedy.
I was really hoping Matt would start reciting "Who let the dogs out" for the poem portion. Then I was hoping when Markus the Dog miraculously returned, someone would ask, "If Markus is here, who's in the casket?"
I was convinced Matt was gonna call himself "Father Time" after putting on the clock and being told he was a priest
That would be a good line!
Well… Time Lord actually.
Pastors and Priests are completely different, but I see what you were going for 😂
@klaraferdinandt7029 I know, I'm religious myself. The joke still works tho 😭
Me too!
I laughed so hard when Matt said the clock was to help the parishioners keep track of time during the sermon. Best line!
It’s so funny because it’s so true. I don’t know how many times I’ve been to church and people be looking at the clock making sure they stay on time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Idk his name, but that background actor in blue coat is acting his heart out. A bit of applause for our unsung heros at the back.
I didn't know if he was laughing or crying so i assumed laughing and it was a lot funnier
He’s on par with Extra #11 (iykyk)
Absolutely my thought!!!❤ He did an incredible job!
I couldn't agree more! He did a terrific job!❤
Which one of you is him?
I think Matt’s work so well because he committed to the “yes and”.
The harder they dig, the faster he scrambles :'D
This was my favorite "didn't get the script" that they've done so far. They built in some pretty good twists into the story, and Matt was hilarious to watch as he fumbled around trying to figure out what was going on.
I'm sad they didn't use a different plot. Me knowing what happens made it less funny.
@@MistwolfssI thought it was more funny seeing how each person reacts differently
I haven't seen all these so.... I am just here DYING at Matt dying :'D :'D Best thing I've seen in months :D :D are they all given the same script?
@@grandmatildyfromtennessee4605 the rest of the team is locked in to their lines; there's no deviation. The sketch with Mallory not "in the know" was the same script
@@MichaelOnines oh cool thanks :) I don't really keep up with Studio C but clearly I am going to have to start :P
“I think it’s time for your eulogy.”
“Yes, and I’m very ready for that…”
That was 👌👌👌🤣🤣🤣
"Pastor please recite that alliterative poem..." Matt: *nearly loses it* yes...
This was great. I've never seen Matt have that deer-in-the-headlights look so many times in the span of six minutes. What a trooper.
aint torture great? :D :D
I love how whenever Matt said “I forgot about that” he really means “ how dare you do this to me” Edit: Thanks for all the likes omg!
@@greyhouse8801 now I'm going to watch it again substituting that line. 😁
_alliterative_ poem…now sing it
That was cold, you have to admit.
You can see it in his face he was like 'Really? Why are you doing this?'
Please more respect for God please!

“I’m pretty glad it happened”. Imagine if an actual priest started off a sermon like that.
"Markus..... or MARK if you are on abbreviated terms with him." 😂
"Rain rippling round the road,
"rest, ruff ruff ruff."
-A wise man
Enjoyed how once he had used the inevitable barking reference and seeing he was at a dead end with alliterative ideas he just leaned into it.
Matt is being so gracious here, because he could have easily pushed this completely off the rails if he wanted to.
Matt hanging on by the skin of his back teeth through everything going, I will be the bigger person here.... play nice, play nice PLAY NICE MEESE
Marcus is a miracle dog. He's come back to life twice!
"God works in mysterious ways"
Or 'the power of their song brought him back'
Bane is a national treasure!!

So true!
As an autistic person, I completely agree!
Matt pulled this off pretty good 😂
The reason for the clock necklace was an excellent excuse!
Matt showing us just how OG he is😭😭
5:33 why is he petting MATT?😂
Cuz Matt goes "Ruff ruff ruff"
This was hilarious! I saw it during the Special. Matt was so funny! As usual. I'm so glad he's back.
Great job, Studio C.
On the spot is my favorite subseries because it’s so fun how each actor puts their own unique play on the story
Awww I miss Matt so much! Him breaking character is always priceless!
The face of “what have I gotten myself into…” 😭🤣
Mr.Meese made a wonderful poem and song. I can now take the audio and make it my ringtone, thank you.
"They like getting respect from people" is actually a pretty good description of dogs.
I have a back injury and watched the special last night, after seeing this at the end I was in genuine pain, absolutely worth it
Almost like Matt was trying to be president but didn't know any vocabulary words. Who remembers that sketch?
Wooo W sketch
ruclips.net/video/3dM0rdnbeFs/видео.htmlsi=JCkR4jkXzMByoUNA Presidential Fail!
I just came from that sketch
When Matt wears the glasses, he can then see the picture. 🤣
This reminds me of the Presidential fail sketch.
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST NO SCRIPT VIDEOS
The man in the suit crying his heart out in the back: W
its nice to know both jk studio's and studio c are all great friends and its hilarious knowing the will get each other involved in their sketches
This was so fun to watch! I loved seeing Matt and Mallory try something a little out of their comfort zone
Matt Really is One of the Greatest Sketch Artist in the World…
Love from India
Matt was improvising so hard that it even made the cute dog come back to life... 😂😅😂❤
this was perfect. he did real good improvising. i need to see him do this more.
1:14 Matt wearing that huge watch reminded me of the time he wore something similar in his Provo Utah Girls vid in Divine Comedy.
I hope this becomes a regular recurring segment!!!!
Matt killed this honestly 😂😂
i LOVE ya’lls improv. work so well together. make some noise vibes
i love this series ... would love to see more of "on the spot"

Thanks God Matt is finally back on stage🎉😅❤ 👏
Flashbacks to Matt in Divine Comedy's Provo, Utah Girls music video😂
I know! I knew exactly what prop he was going to choose from that coat stand
I’m glad I’m not the only one who was thinking that!
YES
this should be the test for all new crew members

Very clever idea, with Matt as the perfect choice for the comedic challenge.
This is classic Matt Meese.
When he hears the word "alliterative," you can see Matt getting traumatic flashbacks to Tongue Twister
I feel like Matt would have thrived with an even faster pace
This series is basically just the studio c version of "thank god you're here"

Matt did a great job holding it together in this, considering he often laughed when he was in the old cast.
