he was more intelligent than sacha here, and was just up to speed if not a step ahead, he knew the score, ive seen these vids many times and this i always liked somewhat, professor enjoyed this, and i felt he knew whoever this human was he was intelligent, but bemused as to the character being portrayed
I love how about half of sacha's questions are really deep and clever. it's fascinating how he can combine questions like what are the most musical animals and what is the point of life and at the same time be such a "stupid" character like ali g
I agree. On one hand it is a way to keep the person sitting there. The cool thing is that at the same time it enriches the the content for the viewer at home and makes us really think. that is comedy done right if you ask me.
yess lol his question about animals being naked and humans not just makes me think of how confused natives were when european settlers and conquistadors showed up
I want to see Ali G's Julie on the show. Like an actress dressed in the same style of clothing with the same accent in her speech, interviewing people just like Ali G does.
Fun fact. Sasha tricked them because none of those he interviewed would ever do one with him. What actually happened is Sasha entered the building with a man in suit in his Ali g costume and pretend to be some of the back up staff crew. The person who was meant to be interviewed automatically thought the man in the suit was the interviewer etc they never suspected Sasha was the actual interviewer all the while waiting for the man in the suit. Sasha would just ask clever preliminary questions.
About the "laugh track" guys. Every video has someone talking about this. Back in the day this was on HBO, and these clips were on his show (Da D Ali G Show), and show to an audience that he hosted. Its the audience laughing.
why Not as annoying as people like yourself constantly complaining about the presence of laughter, and then wrongly labelling it a 'laugh track', as if it was somehow pre-recorded. What's so bad about gearing audience laughter anyway? When you watch comedy with family and friends, do you order them to be completely silent during the process? Pathetic.
This is a bit like Karl Pilkington’s “Do we need em” where he calls up scientists to try to convince them to say that we can get rid of unnecessary animals that annoy him
It's a bit disappointing that this zoologist had no answer to 'the point of animals being alive' lol you'd think he could talk about the food chain and soil enrichment or something
This guy clearly gave Sacha a hard time. He probably thought “Either this is a prank, or this guy is so dumb it’s useless trying to explain anything to him”.
The environment has an impact on evolution. They were probably in an environment which didn't require them to evolve. There are even different evolutionary steps for humans. Darker skin for example has a higher melonin content. The bodys natural protectant against the sun. Theres lots of sun around the African regions, and the people there evolved to the conditions.
Crazy how he made people that don’t understand evolution look so ignorant, while he’s arguing against it, and talking with someone who knows it’s real. 🤯
He wasn't wrong about giraffes though, but seems like professor wasn't aware at all. After a duel, it is common for two male giraffes to caress and court each other. Such interactions between males have been found to be more frequent than heterosexual coupling. In one study, up to 94 percent of observed mounting incidents took place between males. The proportion of same-sex activities varied from 30-75 percent. Only one percent of same-sex mounting incidents occurred between females.
I don't know much about evolution, but the environment is a factor ,sometimes ramdon mutation. They did evolved but in a different way .One good exemple of an animal evolving in my opinion is the Sea lion and penguins
This guy handled the interview so well and never got frustrated. Big up ya self
mmmm....sure started getting frustrated towards the end there.
Agreed this professor is one of best at handling an Ali g interview, unfortunately that makes it not as comedic, but respek.
A Professor who knows his shit.
