    Nice tips man!
    One thing that helped me gain a bunch of confidence in the bowl when I first started was getting a pair of knee pads and learning how to slide down the side of the bowl on your knees if you need to bail. You can end up doing stuff much further outside of your comfort zone without having to worry about whether or not you'll be able to handle the fall (which means you'll learn quicker 👍)
    Keep up the good work Chad!

    Your videos are so great. So many other people that try to give advice or tutorials for skateboarding have a pretty tenuous grasp of the english language. They can't express themselves clearly at all, they trip over their sentences and generally fluff about which makes the video difficult to watch. Whereas you're more succinct with your explanations. You keep it clear and simple. Hope you keep making more videos like this because you do a great job.

    I learned backwards I learn how to carve first which it took me about a year. And it's funny I learn how to carve in a big bowl but now I'm learning how to drop in on smaller stuff and I'm going to work my way up my 180s really suck so I'm working on that and I never thought about the loose trucks I have my trucks semi loose but they're still kind of tight but I'm going to try to loosen them up the next time I skate the bowl. Great Channel.

I think it's because im intimidated to learn the flow of the bowl like you said. i jump right in and do one trick and im done. Also, I've had these wheels for a year now and they're like 40mm now. I think that's also the problem.

    • @charlie633
      @charlie633 6 лет назад +2

      Start at the bottom but you want to get as high as you can. When you pump back off of the top sides of the pool you will gain a lot more speed.

    • @semigloss
      @semigloss 5 лет назад

      Not necessarily. If you’re going fast enough you can pump the higher parts of a corner. If you’re not going super fast, you won’t be able to carve high _unless_ you use a different technique: I’ve seen people do less of a carve and more of a swing around the high parts of a corner, as if their board was a pendulum and their head was the pivot point.
      I recommend watching any video of Pedro Barros skating for a master class in pumping corners.

    Hi bro, first of all congratulations for the channel, love your tips and recommendations. And I have one question, what size of wheel do you recommended for a mix of bowl and street skating? Thank you very much and big hug from Argentina.

      Thanks for the support Hugo! 54 or 55mm wheels have worked pretty well for me.

    The only thing I disagree with is the 'lean back' part. You never want to lean back. The board will shoot from underneath you. You want to be on top of your board as if you're constantly dropping in. Always on top of it, also always going forward.
