As someone who has relatives who escaped from an Eastern European nation (Romania to be exact) it makes me very sad to see people feeling nostalgic about a system in which they did not live in, and which oppressed its inhabitants with inhumane cruelty.

Capitalism however, just as an example, actively does have that advantage and utilizes it day to day.
