Fun fact: You have heard the song before if you have seen the movie “Jalla Jalla” - as it is the original (though uncredited) song for the film - heard throughout the film and at the end credits. 🙈 And funny enough you also mentioned it in this very reaction that his breakthrough came when he wrote the music for “Jalla Jalla”. That music that he wrote for ”Jalla Jalla” was in fact “If I used to love you” 🙈🥰. I think that information got lost somehow 🙃😊.
This song is one of those that wraps you in some cosy fluffy substance and makes you feel good. Singing is not only about the voice being good or about having fantastic vocal abilities. It is also about the expression and ability to convey feelings and lyrics.
I really liked her in Jalla, Jalla! And I wanted to see more of her but she kinda disappeared before she reemerged as a music artist. Not to say I didn't like her first album though. It was amazing.
You should listen to some Ceasars Palace you have most likely already heard ”Jerk it out”, If you have, you could listen to ”Over ’fore it started” which is their second most listened to song on Spotify.
I'll one up you! I didn't know it was a "new" song, as in after I was born. I was convinced that this was like a 70s song by someone like Stevie Wonder!
Great reaction! Lot’s of nostalgia with this one. Feel good through and through.
This is just a great song! I have never thought of this before, but I think it sounds like a Jimmy Cliff song. Melody, lyrics and his voice. And - in the film at least - the girl he is singing about is who can help falling in love with her?
Ok song but actually i remember it as better when it came out... Mer förslag... Living in America - The Sounds Brev från Amerika - Pernilla Andersson We are all the winners - Nick Borgen Shoreline - Broder Daniel
'Living in America' med The Sounds! Jag håller stenhårt med dig N.G. Vi fortsätter kämpa för den!!!!!! Jag tycker j***igt mkt om Pernilla Andersson, gillar låten 'Säga nånting bra' bäst
Förslag ; who's da man Elias ft Frans.
I like the song but I agree about the voice and some things he does sounds like he is trying to imitate someone or like putting on a voice and some things as if he is playing a really old character with that hard-to-breathe husky almost cough sound. But it is a good song and nice voice it's just that I think it might be better maybe live (never heard it live) if he relaxes and just sings and don't think too much about it, like maybe he was to much in his head when recording it. Just a feeling I get.
It would be interesting to see the criteria of the word "Classic swedish".. never heard of this song at all.. We have more Ramerl, Taube, Wreesvjik, Skifs, Gessle, and others to be classic more than this..?

Yes please!

Such a soothing song 🎷
Laleh - Live tomorrow
*Infinite Mass - Bullet*
I only recently realised it's Laleh that plays the role of Yasmine in Jalla, Jalla! I think the movie came out five years before her first album.
I really liked her in Jalla, Jalla! And I wanted to see more of her but she kinda disappeared before she reemerged as a music artist. Not to say I didn't like her first album though. It was amazing.
@@figurehead242 It’s really time for a reaction to her breakthrough and classic song “Live tomorrow” now 🥰

didn´t know this was a Swedish song, I love it

Great song and I have seen Daniel live with the band at that time = great concert it was!
Jag kan rekommendera hela "Morning train" skivan. Perfekt för kökshäng 🍷
I had no idea that this was a Swedish song :)

Dags att react to "flickan och kråkan" 😄
This is just a great song!

Great reaction!
I want to recommend
Ainbusk Singers ”Älska mig”
Salem Al Fakir ”this is who I am”
Johnossi ”Man must dance”
Gunnar Wiklund - Vi ska gå hand i hand
Eric Gadd - Do you believe in me
The best thing is about this song is that there is basically no person who dislikes it.
Is it time for Du måste finnas - Helen Sjöholm or should we keep this banger for the final episode?
Never heard this singer. Dont know his name. And I'm Swedish. But great voice and feeling! This is definitely a song for the ladies. Sexy!
Ok song but actually i remember it as better when it came out...
Mer förslag...
Living in America - The Sounds
Brev från Amerika - Pernilla Andersson
We are all the winners - Nick Borgen
Shoreline - Broder Daniel
Åh We Are All The Winners ❤️❤️❤️

Otis Redding said - thats how strong my love is
Another song I had no idea was Swedish. Thought this was an American pop song
