    I love my SGW-500, but unfortunately it doesn't get near enough wrist time. I would have to say that distinction goes to one of my AE-1200s. I actually have a few of those, but the one I wear the most is the faux silver colored one, which has a black resin band on it from a Casio HDA-600, a black JayAndKays BullBar that really was made to fit the G-Shock DW-5600E, and with all of the external lettering from the housing removed with GoofOff. The band didn't actually come from a watch though; it's a band that I picked up at Walmart a few years ago as a direct replacement. I like the replacement band better because it's quite a bit thicker than the original, and it isn't near as flexible, so you know it's there.
    Anyway, I went to wear my SGW-500 yesterday and all it showed was the flashing battery symbol at the bottom, something I'm all too familiar with on this watch. They really do burn through batteries quickly, as this will be my third time replacing them in about five years. I want to say this last set lasted around a year and a half or so, and I'm not even buying those cheap, bargain basement Chinese batteries that sell $3 for a card of ten. I'm buying real batteries, the ones that sell on a two pack card for around $6. I just wanted to watch a refresher video on this thing to make sure I don't screw something up, because I'd really hate like Hell to damage it.
    I notice yours has a gray masking for the indices and the compass markings. Mine are both blue with dark blue pushers instead of the orange ones that yours does. I didn't know they were available in your colors. To be honest, I thought they only made them in one color scheme, so it's really cool to see a different one.
    I swapped out my original resin band around six months ago for a black metal one from a Chinese watch maker called SKMEI, and their model number for the watch is 1370, in case anyone would like to change theirs out for a perfect size and shape metal bracelet. The 1370 is a direct clone of our beloved SGW-500s, and it fits the shape of the housing and lugs just like it was their all along. I put my original band back in the retail box so it wouldn't get lost, but if I remember correctly, it had blue lettering on it just below the lugs.
    Also, for those of you who have an AE-1200 in black and would rather it had a black metal bracelet instead of the original black resin one, that same Chinese watchmaker makes a clone for those watches as well, their model number is 1335, and I bought mine on AliExpress for around $10 or $12 about six months ago. Even if all you want to do is take the band off and throw away the watch itself, it's still not a bad deal for a steel bracelet, plus if you take the back housing off, four tiny screws a spare set of spring bars and a battery as well!
    Sorry this was so long, I have a tendency to do that sometimes, so happy watch customizing for those of you who might be into that.

    Bro why do you show the ac contact I dont understand what should ı do

    • @freeenergymobile
      @freeenergymobile 5 лет назад +1

      The AC spot is the retctangular contact inside the rectangular hole on the right side of the watch with the batteries at the top. Short that to ( - ) which is the marking circle indicating that the cover plate is negative. I used sewing pins to make the contact. All it does is factory reset to zero. I had to take a photo to see the AC arrow mark on the tab above the slot. The AC contact is above the tab that crosses the slot.

      I didn't need to contact AC point with batteries. Watch already worked after putting in batteries
