I had stopped bowling and sold everything after injury and other personal obstacles. Your videos inspired me to pick it back up again a few weeks ago. I bought the storm fate in my hometown bowling alley.....Enterprise Lanes in Springfield Mo!!!!! I'm excited to get a chance to see you and all the others live soon!!!!!!
The music and editing made this feel like an Avengers movie. Great work Jesse. Darren, you bowled great man. The lanes were obviously very tough and unforgiving. It looked like you carried 3 or 4 light hits but every other time you hit light you got a split. As you said, "Maximum penalties for mistakes". Better luck next time. I trust you will get better and better until you push through to where you want yourself to be; one of the best bowlers on the planet week after week.
Those light hit splits were due to a missed mark, and unfortunately, he wasn't laying it down on the lane early enough in some of them. Urethane needs to get on the lane as soon as possible to get that early hook in.
You're so likable as a bowler, and as a person. I don't know how I stumbled upon bowling videos in the last week, but have watched a lot of your content since then. It's more than refreshing seeing someone competing at the highest level of their sport not making excuse(s) when things don't go their way. You're my new favorite PBA bowler, by a mile. It’s amazing how D-Tang struggled with the Pitch Black game 1 and stuck with it almost all the way to the end. That has to be pure mental toughness for sure. Still loved the video and I’m sure you’ll slowly get back into the groove and start getting higher up in placements and score soon enough 😁 Glad your neck and body feels good afterwards too!

Some of those pairs seemed damn neigh impossible, but I love that you're keeping a good attitude about it. This is why I became a fan 2 years ago, and it's why I know you're in for some great results. You kind of remind me of Verity Crawley. She's had some really rough tourneys, but you know she's going to go far. I see the same thing in you. Don't let weeks like this make you want to quit. You're paying the dues for great years that are still in front of you.

Can definitely tell you've been working on the mental aspect of the game. People have all sorts of opinions but mental is a HUGE part of the sport of bowling. A couple times you could tell you were seething. The good thing is you came back with some strong games. To win tournaments like this execution and reads need to be great but also helps to have some fall your way. Unfortunately it wasn't your day to get the pins on your side. Eventually it will come around. And yes, Jesse has upped his production quality even more.
The bright side of the results is that you out performed the majority of the players in the field. Nothing to be down about. Good results will come from all your hard work and positive attitude.

Great job with the music, I'm no pro but I feel when he has to bowl more to the right he overthinks it and adjust angles more then speed cause we all no he has enough Rev rate for that shot lol. Hope you have a good season.

Darren, US open pattern, looks to be very difficult. I wonder what if you can drill a Belmo ball FATE with an much weaker layout i.e. Almost having the weight block laying horizontally. The ball hooking potential will mostly relying on the cover stock say 1000-1500 grip and your revolution. You must keep the angle tight when entering the pocket say 3.5 arrows to about second arrow break point. You may also try to be have more smoother release on the bottom of your swing. I can see you are trying to increase power and revolution at bottom of your swing but, by slowing down your swing at the bottom just a little, you should be able to guide the ball rather than jerking it to create more revolution. Anyway love your videos it is always entertaining, fun and good quality videos. Could that be a Sony mirrorless camera and lenses?

I was a 15 yo and was averaging around190 back in early 70's. Always thought I wanted to be a pro. Had 1 ball, Manhattan rubber. Met a girl, turned out to be my wife later and I stopped bowling at 17. The amount of balls on the market these days is ridiculous. I know your on staff to sell balls to the public, but do you HONESTLY think that there are simply too many choices these days. I personally know 1 pro who says he has around 100 balls. Yesterday my wife got 171 w/ 9lb house ball. I forgot to wear my 300 belt buckle. Only 190

Tough to replicate. Type of oil, lane surface, weather etc all play a factor.
