- I grew up with this band playing its message of hope and acceptance on the radio throughout the 70's and 80's. It was the essence of what disco was all about, dancing your troubles away on the dance floor, forget about them and remember the fun and joy you can have....this song was always too short for me...so here is my take on a longer version. Hope you like! I've been away for a while...

Listening to old school disco during CV quarantine! Da bomb!! Takes me back to the late 70s when me and my bf would go to Knott's Berry Farm Friday and Saturday nights just to dance at the Cloud 9 in the Roaring 20's across from the parachute jump. We danced all night with anyone who wanted to dance. Most memorable song: Brick House by the Coomodores!!!
I later got a job in the Tee Shirt Shop next to the Bird Cage Theatre in Ghost Town putting iron ons on tee shirts. That was such a fun job! What a blast from the past!
