What a Treat! Destiny I was your age when I started helping my mom cut and clean greens. I helped her prepare Thanksgiving Day Dinner while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade here in Orlando many years ago. Such great memories. Truly enjoyed watching. She reminds me of my aunts and grandmother that we lost 24 years ago this week😢 So much wisdom and she can cook! I love it! I can listen to her all day. Margarita is a piece of work😂, her personality is everything! I tell you this was some big time reminiscing for me about my youth. For a moment I thought I was back in the day at my peoples house in South Carolina, we used to do the exact same thing, every female had something to prep and it was so much fun….. good food, good fun and good family loved it, thank you Yesenia and family.

I love the love & laughter you share with your family. So many times I’ve gone as a guest to friends that were my adopted family & there always seemed to be fighting. I so appreciate that you shared the love. I’m alone for all holidays now but I don’t miss the drama.

When y’all were driving down Main Street in Emporia I knew exactly where y’all were and I called every one of the landmarks (courthouse, post office, treasury building, police department) brings back so many fond childhood memories. @@SimplyYesenia I’m not from there just spent about 5 years of my childhood there! But I loved it the town is so simple. I would move back now that I’m grown, but it’s a little too far from everything…lol
We’d love to visit but like you said it’s far from everything in there is not much to do
@@SimplyYesenia exactly I’d struggle because you either have to go Chester Va or North Carolina to shop. Last time I was there they had opened a few new stores but it’s still nothing

🤍 Full, Rich family Vlog. Margaritas & “Billy Bob”, and their kids are welcoming and wise. Margarita is comforting and sweet. Love their beautiful home and properly right up against the Marina with the boats. David looks so much like his dad and Uncle even though he also looks like his Mom’s twin too. The food looks so good. Especially the Mac & Cheese and that huge Apple Pie with Egg Wash, sprinkled with Sugar, made with love. I loved the story about that big ol’ pile of greens. Loved the Highway travel part of the Vlog too. Love the long length of the video. I can’t wait to see Thanksgiving Day 🤍

Such a small world, been a follower for a while and really enjoy your content. I drive from NC to Emporia 2-3 times per week (I have an office downtown near their court house) and have seen J&M so many times. Definitely going to stop by and try them out:-)

The only way too open up those large cans is too have a commercial can opener. Its want work so good with a regular can opener.

Wow!!!! That's some good ole home cooking right there 😋!!! I like how Destiny showed interest and helped in the kitchen. I wished that I would've paid attention and helped when I was little in the kitchen that way I would've known all my grandmother's and aunt's old fashioned recipes. Tell Destiny to keep paying attention so she can carry on those recipes and maybe one day teach her kids and grandkids.
