    If you can play defense like him you will make it on any level, and besides that his game is very polished. I have been watching him for like 4 years now and the dude as game. Give respect when it's due, no need to hate and he not even a senior yet. #SEVENTHWOODS

    I'm really rooting for this kid. Ever since his freshman mixtape I was in awe like most of us. It seems a lot of ppl don't think he'll be good because recent videos don't match the shock value of the first one, but I think the kid still possesses the requisite talent to be good on the college and pro level. I don't think he's not lacking in any particular area that much and he's going into his senior year of HIGH SCHOOL. The kids gonna get better. Obviously he's going to face better competition and he'll go through his adjustment periods. But that's true for any athlete. You excel on one level, adjust to the higher level, and then conquer that higher level. I remember when people crucified Andrew Wiggins at Kansas especially after the tournament and said he was an overrated bust. But once he got his feet settled he started giving out work in the NBA including averaging almost 30 in two meetings against LeBron with LeBron guarding him. I hope this young man does well and quiets the doubters.

    6'2 my ass, he's no more than 6 feet. But none the less, a very impressive ball player. I'm surprised he's ranked 27th in his class with the ability he has. Definitely overlooked in my opinion.

    wow- thats what a pro looks like in junior high. makes it looks easy- like he can do what he wants , when he wants to. feel sorry for those 5'6" high school kids - like i was. when u go up against a guy like that- its like they're playing a different sport.

    kid would be smart to trade in the sneakers for some cleats. Kid could a hall of fame like receiver or DB. With that shaky handle and lack of elite height, he'll never make the NBA

    • @SidestickPilot
      @SidestickPilot 9 лет назад

      He's 6'3 now, that's an average PG. Look at Monte Ellis or Damian Lillard, and he plays great D and is just as or more athletic than them. He's a good shooter and can get to the Tim easily.

    Lol at the haters commenting on here.Mitch saying hes average,far from it.He does this against future pros at all star camps\tournaments.Talking about his handles are shaky,like hes playing D1 at this moment.He was the best player in his state at 15.Now hes 16,hes not even 17 yet.Duke won the championship with some some scrub guards.Do they have fundamentals\hustle,yes.Talent,No.Those guards wont be able to ride the bench in the league.If he stays healthy.And stays out of trouble,and goes to a college\coach.Who will not hold his game back,by just passing\shooting 24\7.Then hell make it.This cat is 16,and just getting started.I pray to god that he doesn't go to Duke\Kentucky.These young kids need to shake the ncaa up in the future.Like back in the day.Unlv,michigan,arkansa,geogetown,uconn,cuse,etc.

    I hate to be negative on the kid, but I don't think he's very good. His athleticism is extraordinary but other than that he's mediocre.
    Above all his handle is very, very shaky for a point guard. He protects the ball like he's a power forward who was forced to bring the ball up court.
    His jump shot is also too choreographed. There's no fluidity to it.
    What's worse is this competition he's up against. These are regular high school kids, not the freakish high school kids, and he still looks questionable.
    He's not even that quick, despite his freakish vertical..
    I hope I'm proven wrong and he turns out to be great.

    • @jtucker473
      @jtucker473 10 лет назад +2

      If you really "hate to be negative" you would have not been so compelled to make your comment. Take away his athleticism and he will be mediocre.... Umm, take away most things from a player and they will be mediocre. Kobe got shakey handles and he has been alright. Again if you really hated being negative you would take the wait and see approach, as opposed to the long dissertation you posted.

      I saw him play white knoll just yesterday and can agree with everything you're saying. They got the win but I felt as if he never hit 100 percent. I feel if his passing ability and jumper gets better, he'd be sooooo much better. No hate for him though, we have the same trainer, and I wish him the best

    • @MrTitanic101
      @MrTitanic101 10 лет назад +1

      yea he may play regular high school kids but he puts up 40+ points in the Under Armour All-American games and the kids in those games aren't regular high school kids .

      J Tucker I should clarify what I mean when I say he's not that good. I'm saying he's not that good from the perspective of 'potential future nba all star'. of course, he's good. he's exceptional. but he needs to fill out the rest of his game if he wants to fulfill his enormous potential.
