‘I asked Muhammad (bin Seereen) whether Tashah-hud should be recited after the two prostrations of Sahu. He replied, "It is not (mentioned) in Abu Huraira's narration."’ (Sahih Bukhari: 1228)
Some prominent scholars say that if you "intentionally" missed years of salat then these cannot be made up but you must ask for forgiveness and never miss salat again. What example can anyone cite from the hadith where the prophet made somebody make up years of intentionally missed salat??? It doesn't exist and would be a heavy burden on a muslim who is trying to change.
Some scholars such as ibn Hazm held the opinion that it is impossible to make up any prayer, but that opinion goes against the consensus of all the scholars of the four madhahib and is thus not a valid opinion to follow.
Big-up Ryan for the time-stamps, JazakAllah Khayre.

The default is that a Muslim owes all their missed obligations, and it is upon you to prove otherwise.

the salafis and prominent scholars among them consider salat at tasbih to be an innovation.
Salat al-Tasabih is sunna in all four madhhabs.
