    Nice catch! I’ve subscribed to your channel, as well. I’m a railroader with 22 yrs experience.
    One question I do have in regards to this video. Is this east of the end of the third track that was installed a few years back (between Belleville & Napanee) or was this video shot before the third track was laid?

      Curves like this have to be elevated to maintain a 65mph timetable speed, as seen here. The higher the track speed, the higher the elevation has to be. Due to the center of gravity, rolling resistance, etc, without the elevation, a train traveling at this speed would literally tip over on its side.
