Lost some land ve when record labels pushed the bikinis, moet and hos, but Drake was like John the Baptist, preparing me for this Ren dude - he’s pushed the rap envelope- and got me into other good stuff. Prof was great, but Ren definitely came for blood and murdered it 🔥 The syllables scheme is just stupid good. And those harmonies on the last chorus? Ren is just different. On the first listen, what really got me through was the “I’m famous mum!” and that ending with the duct tape 🤣 I was just not ready for that in a pretty serious song 😂 I love how much they seemed to just vibe and have fun together though even if it was all remotely and probably mostly just messages back and forth. I can totally imagine them hanging out and getting creative together just based off this one collaboration.
