The finale of 2.0. I'd highly suggest getting a defense and healer unit. I went in with only healer and was missing shields lol. Ending basically leads into the next update probably 2.1 to conclude the trailblaze mission. Looks like its gonna get crazy next trailblaze mission! Full walkthrough of 2.0 trailblaze mission coming next. Rendering now. Will also get Sparkle's companion misson after that. Enjoy!

The story will probably be in 3 parts. And… I think the final boss there will have 4 phases.
“Once you’re back in the real world, remember to tell everyone about the Stellaron Hunter who was behind your ultimate departure” Bro that line is a complete 10/10 in my book
Everyone on my team died except Blade. He just kept taking hits and healing from his bonus attack and ult. 2 times he was at 1 hp and still survived.
Literally i had both of them on my team and they both barely survived

Blade couldn't defeat Sam in the past. But now he can.
the only unit on my team who could regenerate health was natasha, and her heals couldn't be applied to multiple people fast enough, nor were they strong enough, to keep my team alive
i've actually straight up stalled on the recent story updates. if i manage to max out all the characters i have and natasha's heals are literally my only weak link, i'm quitting the game. i don't have the energy for this

One thing the fight really made me question is how Sam and the other stellaron hunters get along. Sam seems very aggressive while the other SH’s are pretty laid back.
He seemed pretty chill when we spoke to him through Blades phone, even had a sense of humor. He’s also the one who was responsible for executing Elio’s plan to recruit Kafka. And SW says he always helps her without her having to ask.
Ironically, Kafka says he’s less picky than her and Blade says he’s good at creating purgatory which seems accurate from what we’ve seen.
Personally my theory is that Sam is being possessed by Duke Inferno, and I have a few reasons for this. The first is like you said, Sam shouldn't be like this, especially towards the Trailblazer since he knows us/should know who we are. He's described as pretty laid back by the Stellaron Hunters, and even in this story they repeated the point that he was a trained mercenary and very methodical. Then you encounter him and he's destroying and burning things left and right like a wild animal. The next one is where during the fight when he goes full combustion and it zooms in on him saying "I will... set the seas ablaze." at 1:45. This is then later almost word for word what Aventurine says is Duke Inferno's stated reason for accepting Penacony's invitation at 8:35. Finally its all tied together by us having that ghost hunting chapter followed by Duke Inferno's attack on the space station where they make it a point to compare what Duke Inferno is to a Heliobus, energy beings that are known for possessing people.

@@LoverofTragedy Checked again and realized it wasn’t confirmed . Kafka’s 4th Character Story is Elio sending someone directions for distracting Kafka with a can of food and throwing a ball after so that Elio can approach and converse with her. I assumed via process of Elimination (Kafka and Sam were both present at Blade and SW’s recruitment ) that he sent this to Sam.
But at the end of the instructions Elio mentions that there’s a possibility that Kafka will ignore the can, “In that case, just throw the ball away. You will die, but death comes for everyone”. So there’s a chance that the first Stelleron Hunter is dead

i mean, acheron, black swan, and sparkle are fine, but they don't have that same sense of endearment that firefly and robin have...
I mean call this coping or whatever but i seriously think they aren't dead by the end of penacony. Sunday is the one that i think will die by the end of this.
For more copium, keep in mind the game hasn’t stated what happens to anyone who dies in the dream realm. The only warning we are given is to not have any intense emotions while entering.

i was wondering about that too. i'd imagine that, since it's a realm of the consciousness, anyone who dies would just enter a vegetative state. idk if that's gonna be used as a plot device to resurrect the dead somehow, but it's interesting to think about

There is a theory that Sam was trying to save TB since the other two are not what they seem to be while Sam had positive interactions with TB before. Some also say Sam is also too aggressive because Firefly "died".

I was worried for Sam's playability due to a certain colliding factor, but after this story, Sam's gonna 100% be completely playable. They literally spell out his entire kit in his boss. His basic attack is irrelevant, but his ult is most likely gonna be the Valstrax attack. And his special mechanic is gonna be the blazing skillpoints, in which he changes stances like how Jingliu changes stances. There's no way it's not.
His basic attack could easily be the fiery advance punch or the dive kick, though if what they did with Kafka is a sign, then he'll have a whole new moveset if and when he's playable.
@@bigpoof3349 True, but it's 100% certain that his kit will be similar since the description of some of his moves are literally read as a playable character.
Plus, him being Destruction, having a kit based around either self or team damage with his blazing skill points, only make it even clearer.

any idea why the sam fight felt cut out? like in the 2.0 music video there seemed to be much more of the fight we dont see in here. is it in another cutscene or-
most likely saving the second fight for the next trailblaze mission. Remember we still have to go back into the dreamscape, so he'll be waiting and he will probably have like 2-3 phases.

@_viper4913 The 2.0 Music Trailer is the same as "Interstellar Journey" that already spoils characters like Luka, Lynx, Jingliu & Xueyi even before they were revealed in 1.0
The same would be applied in "White Night" as it doesn't only cover for 2.0 but for the entire Penacony arc (2.0 ~ 2.3) with little hints on revealing to the audience

Remember how the first time you fought the giant nightmare monster in 2.0, the fight was cut in half and black swan came in to save us so we continued the fight? Sam has a second phase where he goes even crazier, so the same thing will happen

From what we know he wouldn’t harm the TB because he knows him. Same reason why all the other Stellaron Hunters don’t harm TB. Also Sam was there with Firefly at the same time because of what adn2411 said.

I just barely squeezed out a win against this guy with my DHIL/Ratio/Kafka/Huohuo team (and then I wondered why the hell my Huohuo wasn't healing worth a damn). 10/10 can't wait to fight this guy in Simulated Universe.

I need both natasha and gepard to win. And my dps-debuffer was kafka and black swan
man I used Jingliu with SW, Ruan, and HuoHuo and once SW actually added an ice weakness to him Jingliu kinda destroyed. I really wanted to fight him more but then he kept spamming his ultimate so I was glad the fight ended when it did. I really hope when he's playable, no matter if that one theory is correct if we don't get to play as the mech form then it's game over for me.

These 4 were my main team in Penacony & it was a cakewalk fighting Sam, while I found it funny OP struggled with a meta team.

team of Dr.RatioBlade Fireblazer and Gepard and it was so much fun how only Gepard and Fireblazer lived to beat Sam. And they beat him full shields and health, i just felt bad for Sam LOL (defense and shields make this battle easy mode)

I took him in one shot with my normal team (Huo Huo, Jingliu, Blade and Fuxuan), I was not expecting him to be the final boss. I thought it would be the insect that... You know 😅 so a bit dissappointed as I was expecting another boss coming after him.

I had the wrong relic sets on. When I farm I have a different set 🤣🤣🤣
@@Rubhen925 I have her fully built, and sam's ability really messed up her healing. Normally my HH does a full heal with her skill, but sam gimps it to less than half.

Somehow I beat Sam with no healer. I only used Gepard. And luckily I have Kafka And Seele to cover the Skill attack and weakness. I honestly did not care the fact in his fire state it consume some of my hp on skill. I just wanted to end his state. Did not know it would also break him. Btw I got lucky with Gepard freeze.
Aventurine is not in this guy, you know, he is well known. You can choose to return, see the truth what he said. But further progress towards the previous, meaning "refusal".Should I move on?

Also id just like to say that as a bailu main that not even these new healers were gonna save ya if you didnt build em right but luckily bailu still remains best healer to me even though logically is loucha

not on cocolia level in what exactly? In terms of epic moments penacony already probably has more than the other two regions combined. Sam isn't really meant to be a final fight as this is still just the interlude of penacony so of course they wont make the fight itself as grand as the final boss of the first major story arc.
Sam cooler than Cocolia anyway and she was ice lol. So there. Penacony just started, we are nowhere near the final boss I'd think lol.
guys, the boss don't need to be last boss to be really good. Radhan from Elden Ring is one of the most memorable boss fight and he's not last boss.
Also the chinese region boss fight was ASS. I don't feel like getting to the game.

Not every boss needs to be really good either you know? thats like saying i dont feel like getting into elden ring because idk the fallen star beast doesnt seem like a super cool and interesting boss fight. while it happened towards the end of the first quest of this arc it clearly wasnt designed to be a super cool and climactic boss fight as much as a story confrontation where you are exchanging a few blows with a character who 99% likely isnt the real enemy here. I agree that phantylia doesnt compare to cocolia at all in terms of coolness but i dont really think there was anything so actively wrong with it to call it "ASS". Just kinda underwhelming for a fight that was meant to be the epic finale and climax of the luofu story. With that being said though no one is forcing you to play the game. I just feel like your reasoning for not doing so was really weird.
