Hi Mary, I'm not really a vintage crafter but I love seeing all your crafty finds! The beads, buttons and old jewelry are my favorite, they remind my of my sweet Grandma's button box and jewelry box. It was always so fun looking thru her treasures. Honestly the items you find are always so interesting to me! Thank you for sharing. The buttons are self shank. Meaning the shank is molded or carved at the same time as the button. As opposed to the other buttons that you have where the metal shank is put in later.
