I think Chip Should make a book, like Thom Taylor and Scott Robertson did. Only he could go into more secrets than they did. Because there's a way to see and plot reflections that haven't been covered in other books. They tell you the basic fundamentals, but do not tell you how to see and plot reflections of converging organic shapes. Chip Foose is one of the Rare few who actually have a deeper understanding of reflection plotting and surface rendering.
That's your problem Chip , you're such a chatter box ! I've never heard you so quiet ! It's so absorbing watching you at work . You forget that first and foremost you customise and restore cars . I guess your work sells for hundreds if not thousands of dollars . I' ve admired your work and ethics for a number of years and don't envisage any change , any time . Thankyou Chip for entertaining us and for many , changing their lives in the most positive way . God Bless !
Amazing video as we can check in real time how every phase of the design is Carried out, really like videos without time lapse. a music in the background would make rh video perfect. please publish more videos like this, maybe providing some tips during the design stage. COOL😊😊😊
Morning Chip here from New Zealand me and the wife really love wacthing your shows on discovery every day we have not miss an episode and you on RUclips gees man keep up the excellent work you do. You truely inspire alot of us here around the globe.
I must say as many people I’ve seen try drawing a car for ideas what they are building . And I love my artwork and have since third grade and I’m 55 now……no one is as good as you chip you’re the master
At least i got to shake your hand 🥲 You exude love Chip. Thats what i like most ❤️ And you have unbelievable line quality. I actually greatly enjoy your rough sketches too.. often times more so than the tight ones. I used to have saved on my pc the rough sketch of the 54 ford customline you did on overhaulin. That is one of my all time favorite quick sketches ever ❤️ id really appreciate seeing again. But no worries... Its still in my memories God i love you chip❤️🥲🙏♾️🌈
It is always incredible to watch the master at work. Part of me does miss the explanations, though. There was something really special about listening to the insights behind the creativity. That said, I’ll take whatever Chip Foose is willing to give!
Me too i do miss the explanations! But busy he is. An I feel bad at times almost like a stalker . Of his work. I follow him on insta tried to follow him on Twitter An most tv too. Now utube. ;-)
He makes it look so effortless. I love the Insight he puts on a vehicle that's been out there for years we makes it seem new again. I'd love to see what he could do my 67 Chevy C10. I watched a few of these over the years but they just look so exciting.
I follow your designs since the first time you appeared on discovery channel on a tv show called "Rides" redesigning in that moment the new thunderbird car, also when you helped Christopher Titus to create the car of his dreams, after that I followed you through "Overhaulin" episodes during all the season. I knew another genius like you Mike Lavalle (RIP) and his "true fire". I send you a big hug to you and to all your great "Team A" hoping you come back with more episodes of this grateful tv show.
Amazing how you take a blank sheet of paper and go from nothing to a master piece!! Love your work!! Wish I could afford to get a 65 mustang and let you work your magic on it. #dreams
Agreed. If he went on tv, like tlc, he could do a sketch show like bob ross. He can draw anything, not just cars. He did an awesome motor city building rendering too, as well as other non car things.
Love the sketch. Maybe add in an annotation re marker colors as used and a brief end comment from Foose. But even without that, I will continue to watch.
Never gets old too me. I love too have copies of all of his renderings. Maybe a few originals. Thanks for sharing this with us. Could you do a knightrider themed 2020 Camero ?
I love to sketch everything but cars ,I have problems doing cars but not others people, landscapes ,but not cars ,the only car I did was the zztop car it turned out good but that's the only one ,thanks for the video FOOSE
Love to see what you would do with a mustang II. I believe the wheelbase is proportionality wrong for the body. If you move the front wheels forward and rear wheels back and open up the fenders for larger tires (not too large), it would completely change the look for the better. Lower it (not too low) and it would be a great looking car.
Wow! You never ever see people with any love for the Mustang II. I grew up in the 70s. I don’t love the II, but I don’t hate it. I used to build 1/24 scale models, and I had a few IIs. My dad owned a car wash and we did detail and prep for a Ford dealership so I had plenty of experience with Cobra IIs, and the King Cobra in 78. I know it was a looks package only, it looked good. (Again for the times) You never see any of those now.
@@josebrown5961 that's because people love to follow the pack. I am in the design world. So when I see a vehicle, I analyze it aesthetically. Some cats can be fixed (Mustang II) some can't, (pontiac aztek) . The mustang Ii was actually a return to the cars roots. I used to drive a relative's of mine. Not fast, but a fun car to drive. Drove much better than a friend's 65 which had the steering control of a boat. No doubt one of the MOST TALENTED MEN IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY. Bar NONE. Whom ever is giving the thumbs down move on and don’t come BACK:((((
Watching a master at work. It's easy to forget that making a design a reality is more than just hammers, wrenches and welders.
I could watch Chip draw all day.
Such a wonderful talent.
Thank you Chip.
With a PEN! Legend and hero.
I happen to know a guy, that I’ve known all my life that owns a Chip Foose original.

Foose sketching a Dodge Charger. And doing it on my day off so I can watch. Really does not get better than this!
Chip is an amazing artist both in 2D & 3D 👀
I still haven't forgotten about your sketch videos. I think about your drawings almost every day.
Ty for sharing your art and tips. ❤️🙏
All that with a Bic. They definitely didn’t teach me how to use one of those a Art Center. Lol.

Help keep his Heart Pumping & Longevity. Keep that Belly down too.

Hi from Dublin , just fantastic watching a real artist at work , thank you
uhhhhhh. just fab -
Dodge Charger, my all-time favorite car, with foose design it can only be great.
I always love to watch Mr. Foose draw. Maybe a little different camera angle so we can see the pens touching the paper?

Beddie goowd!
Too Good 👍🏻😎
I've seen so many professional artists use a good ol' fashioned Bic pen that it amazes me. What's the allure of a Bic pen??
My favorite classic musclecar body style is hands down the 68 charger.
Sublime. LOVE your work, Mr Foose!!! : )
