    I think Chip Should make a book, like Thom Taylor and Scott Robertson did. Only he could go into more secrets than they did. Because there's a way to see and plot reflections that haven't been covered in other books. They tell you the basic fundamentals, but do not tell you how to see and plot reflections of converging organic shapes. Chip Foose is one of the Rare few who actually have a deeper understanding of reflection plotting and surface rendering.

    That's your problem Chip , you're such a chatter box ! I've never heard you so quiet ! It's so absorbing watching you at work . You forget that first and foremost you customise and restore cars . I guess your work sells for hundreds if not thousands of dollars . I' ve admired your work and ethics for a number of years and don't envisage any change , any time . Thankyou Chip for entertaining us and for many , changing their lives in the most positive way . God Bless !

I knew another genius like you Mike Lavalle (RIP) and his "true fire". I send you a big hug to you and to all your great "Team A" hoping you come back with more episodes of this grateful tv show.

    Love to see what you would do with a mustang II. I believe the wheelbase is proportionality wrong for the body. If you move the front wheels forward and rear wheels back and open up the fenders for larger tires (not too large), it would completely change the look for the better. Lower it (not too low) and it would be a great looking car.

    • @josebrown5961
      @josebrown5961 2 года назад

      Wow! You never ever see people with any love for the Mustang II. I grew up in the 70s. I don’t love the II, but I don’t hate it.
      I used to build 1/24 scale models, and I had a few IIs. My dad owned a car wash and we did detail and prep for a Ford dealership so I had plenty of experience with Cobra IIs, and the King Cobra in 78. I know it was a looks package only, it looked good. (Again for the times)
      You never see any of those now.

    • @jked7463
      @jked7463 2 года назад +1

      @@josebrown5961 that's because people love to follow the pack. I am in the design world. So when I see a vehicle, I analyze it aesthetically. Some cats can be fixed (Mustang II) some can't, (pontiac aztek) . The mustang Ii was actually a return to the cars roots. Just as the 65 was a gussied up falcon (their smallest car,), the mustang Ii was a gussied up pinto (their smallest car) . It, unfortunately, was born in the malaise era when all cats had no power. I used to drive a relative's of mine. Not fast, but a fun car to drive. Drove much better than a friend's 65 which had the steering control of a boat. It's easy to go with the crowd but looking at reality is far more interesting.

    • @josebrown5961
      @josebrown5961 2 года назад

      @@jked7463 Thanks, One thing I get so tired of is people being down on Mustangs of that time because they were so low powered. All cars were down on power.
      The Camaro Z28 also was a looks package, the Trans Am had two big lumps, the 400, and the Olds 403. Nobody had power.
      Nobody ever does resto mods of the Mustang II. How come no Coyotes or 5.0s? Well the coyotes probably won’t fit but the 5.0 should drop right in.
      I went off on a rant I’m sorry!

    • @jked7463
      @jked7463 2 года назад +1

      @@josebrown5961 no problem. I don't remember which gm it was, but saw a gm car the other day from the malaise era with a 5.7 v8 with 140 hp. I agree re restomod mustang Ii. Even a 2.3 ecoboost to keep weight off the front wheels for handling. I am tired of this never enough horsepower macon thing going on right now. If you don't have 900 horsepower, you're nothing. How stupid. I like horsepower but that is not all there is to life. I'd trade some for better handling. I am more of a corner guy than 1/4 mile guy. But I agree, the mustang Ii deserves at least some understanding of time it was born.
