it showcased how a girl yearns for love and thought that the only way she could earn it was from other people, so she became kinda addicted to sex, especially from her mother's boyfriend. throughout the movie, her life just kinda worsens, but in the end, she learned that the greatest form of love is self-love.

as a teenager myself, i wanna see a coming of age teenage movie that doesnt involve: boys, sex, drugs, drinking etc. I want to see originality and maturity in the protagonist by finding who she truly is without the source of men but with family and friends. This movie wasnt my cup of tea and I didnt like how they did toooooo many sex scenes with the 35 year old and the 15 year old. That was too uncomfortable and yes it is pedophilia. She is a minor therefore a child. So if anyone supports this but doesnt like Danielle Cohn, im sorry but your a hypocrite.

I agree but I feel as if I relate to these stories more. As a teenager so far my whole teen experience like everyone else is to discover who I am. I feel I am empowered by what I have gone through, because it shows strength and my own personal growth. Sadly going through what I went through as many teenagers, almost all my teenage years had to deal with sex, and boys. As for @sunnieflowers everyone knows it's not okay it's just she wants to feel wanted by someone that's how most girls feel. So lastly and sadly a coming of age story is more accurate to these ones. (sorry I typed so much I'm on quarantine and have nothing else to do but spread my opinion on youtube's platform.)
