This team has serious issues. Well on their way to a blowout and the just totally checked out. What happened to the Maryland version of Barham? We can NOT win 8 games this way. Something has to click and so far it hasn't. There is really something missing with this team, and not having Rod Moore in the backend is glaring. GO BLUE! On to Washington.

I said this earlier in the season, this offense is a trainwreck. I thought it was getting better until I saw Orji throw today. It's hard to imagine that a program like Michigan doesn't have a quality QB on the roster (with Tuttle injured).

Now what haters. QB questions. Many will always complain about that subject. We know why. But winning the game is why he is there. Not only short passes that gave the receivers a chance to show off their talent and lower the chance of getting hurt down field. Plus the room gave them a chance for more yards. But some people throw the ball attitude is stubbornly fixed. But a QB is NOT a passer, NOT a runner, but a leader. That his teammates can depend on to not lose the game on careless throws. But to utilize the tools that makes winning possible.

WTH are you talking about? The entire momentum of the game shifted on Orjis INT. We had two people open who could have scored a TD on that play, and he underthrew it to where the ONLY defender was!

  • @freeheeler00

It felt a bit like a trap game to me. People were talking trash about Minnesota or just overlooking them all last week. Michigan was coming off a huge win against a big time opponent and was facing a huge road trip out west to face the team they just beat for the natty.
To think the Gophers weren't going to show up and have a good game eventually is moronic. It just so happened to occur when the Wolverines offense was falling asleep a little bit while the defense was digging deep into their depth chart to get guys relief. Not having Will Johnson and Josiah Stewart hurt more as the game went on because TJ Guy and Derrick Moore were getting gassed along with Graham and Grant on the inside.
I don't know if Kirk Campbell is saving his best for the best opponents, but he's the guy I'm putting most of the blame on.

Not to mention, MSu staff will be settled in as well as WSH and the usuals. Mich could end up last in the big confrence in a hurry that's horrible and all on the AD. If Michigan doesn't make the move to Tuttle at QB after the bye, they could lose 4 outta their last 6 games. Orji isn't seeing the reads in the running game, nor the wide open WRs in the passing game. He almost looks like he doesn't know how to go through progressions, nor read a DE on a zone read. It's unacceptable he looks this unprepared and undeveloped!

Exactly , Orji isn’t even doing well running. Other than 1 good run for a 1st down along the sideline, he has come giving himself up when he’s on the sideline. If your strength is as a runner don’t act like a throwing QB & just going out of bounds.

Wasting a lot of time not getting Davis Warren experience. Easier for him to learn to protect the ball with no interceptions than Orji to learn how to become an effective passer. He won the job in the preseason for a reason. Give him some experience to learn from and lean on the run game with him in there also. Don't try to be a pass happy team because he can pass.

I was at my first UofM game yesterday. I was so confident going into half time only for the team to almost give me an aneurysm near the end. We didn't beat them yesterday...the clock did. I'm kinda convinced they would've won if they had a couple more drives in the 4th. Looks like they beat us like once a decade, and it's the 10th anniversary since their last W, so they were almost due. I probably would have never gone to the big house again if my presence resulted in their first loss in a decade. We need to take the barstool sports dude up on his 3M offer to land us a serviceable QB. Never thought I'd miss JJ so much...

  • @SR-hf3hx

  • @skagen1972

The problem this year is that yes Michigan plays a solid first half. But the after that iMichigan seems to forget that there is a second half of football that still needs to be played. Plus Michigan defensive stamina needs to be improved because they cannot keep up or adjust the hurry up offensive play.

  • @mannieyoung5477
    @mannieyoung5477 23 часа назад

I know Orji is low hanging fruit and by default an easy target for blame. And he does deserve criticism, I am not arguing against that. What I am saying is that I saw some progression from this young man and overall he has taken care of the ball. The INT was a poor ball, but I did not scream in frustration because I saw a QB who had been overthrowing on deep balls by 10 yards at least, and he was trying to take some steam off of the throw to make the completion and ended up misplacing the throw. He needs to get better and fast, but he has improved from games previously!
The play calling was better, but not perfect. The OL has improved, but needs to dominate for 4 quarters. Receivers are the biggest area that needs to improve more where they are currently.

Not a big fan of Sherrone Moore as a HC. He was a great O-Line Coach. But he's not at the level that Harbaugh was. Michigan should've hired someone who was elite or border line elite. Someone like Kalen DeBoer or Jedd Fisch would've been better than Moore. I'd even take Bill Obrien right now. All three of these guys are better at developing QBs than what Moore/Campbell have proven thus far.

No coach in America is afraid to face Sherrone. Horrible hire by Warde Manuel. UM has been outscored 42-19 in the 2nd half of the last 2 games. Wink is playing man coverage when the situation calls for zone. OC doesn't correct Orji and leaves WAY TOO MUCH time on the clock. Then throws on 3rd down when draining the clock is the ONLY move. Just wait until next year and the year after that. What young stud wants to play for these dingbats? Yes, we are 4-1, but we really should be 2-3. Minnesota was 1 of 2 "easy" games left on the schedule. We are a poor man's Iowa. I've coached before. Everything is a disaster. Sherrone could be a good coach at an A1 program after 4-5 years working out kinks at smaller program. UofM should not be hiring guys that need several years of experience to learn on the job. That's NOT what the "leaders and best" should EVER do. Yes, we are 4-1, but all the UofM guys in my thread are very, very disappointed.
