Being a foreigner in any country is difficult, it's not specific to Turkey. Rent and living expenses are getting higher and higher everyday and jobs are not for non-Turkish people. Whoever thinking of coming to Turkey must think twice.

Turkey is neither for Rich nor for Not so Rich. Here is a simple analysis.
Rich (living in US): Has a house, an independent 4 B/R with front and back yards(gardens), worth >$700K. A house with the same built will cost > $1 million in Turkey. Has 2 cars worth ~80K$. The same two cars will cost >$500K in Turkey. Don't forget, such a person earns >$100K in the US. But won't be able to earn anything (or nothing close to it) in Turkey. The Rich will become not so rich upon moving to Turkey.
Not so Rich (Living in Pakistan): Cost of everything will be in multiple of 3-10x relative to Pakistan. No job due to lack of marketable skills and language barrier.
Immigrants are 2nd or 3rd tier workers (with few exceptions-IT/Engineer/Doctor), no matter where you migrate to.
If you (rich or not) are moving to Turkey so you can enter EU when they are declared a schengen area, keep dreaming, as this is not going to happen anytime soon.
And lastly, Ottomans are a past like Moughals, good to read in the books.

Sorry to say but the bitter reallity is that those pakistani people who even can not get job in Pakustan moved to turkey on TRC. Now due to strict measures by turkey they are forced to go back to their own country. Otherwise living expenses are still very low in Turkey as compare to Europe and infrastructure and life in Turkey is far better than Europe.
Also Mr. Abdul Wali is totally confused about his narrative. He says I have not earned anything from Turkey but as per my observation after getting turkish passport he is only travelling in those countries and vloging where visa is not needed on turkish passport. So he is earning on blogs of those countries where he reached through turkish passport but on other hand he give negative comments on Turkey. People who invested in property in turkey has got 3- 4 times gain. And those who are qualified enough also get jobs in Turkey. Most pakistani try to find work in turkey as unskilled labour class that's why they don't get jobs.

Being a Pakistani citizen having lived between US and Turkey since 2009, I don’t think living in Turkey a viable option. My two children who grew up in US had zero school fee ,while in Turkey I’m paying 400$ per month for a grade 7 student at an ( English medium school). Now paying $400 K for Citizenship is not worth it. In my opinion, there are better options available.

Why pakistanis don't stay in Pakistan and behave like a nation help each other with honestly and cordiality pakistan is a wonderful place has tremendous possibility of becoming a huge economy of the region for this we have to focus on education trade agriculture and industry we have a very successful example of a reasonably high prosper regions like Sialkot Lahore Gujranwala and Faisalabad perhaps Rawalpindi too instead of going abroad we must stay in pakistan focus on education focus on Urdu and English languages be polite honest hard-working and help full for others around us! Pakistan can become a successful story of prosperity like Vietnam combodia kenya and Nigeria I m sure pakistan can surpass countries like Malaysia South Korea UAE and non other than; India turkey Iran and Saudi Arabia! M I talking uotopia? No sir not at all! Be a nation be hard worker honest active focused and agile adopt Urdu as a symbol of unity then see the results! Take my words!

Migrated to Pakistan during partition, all this time locals have labelled us 'migrants', local first. Worst countries to migrate are the Muslim, west 'non-muslims' are the most welcoming & just in giving equal rights, nothing to do with religion, its the odd genes + survival instinct I think, besides other kakos.

Turkey's dynamics are different than other western countries. Inflation has impacted all countries. You need to understand how the country works to be able to get the most out of it.

I think a lot of countries have now, what is popularly known as digital nomad visas. Which come out to be much cheaper than buying property etc. That should be a good way to try. & in my opinion the gulf states are the most easy for paks to live in. Jobs will be difficult anywhere now, & inflation as well. Canada is rapidly becoming un livable as well. But both Malaysia & Turkey are not easy to live in
