Beautiful list Cherie ❤. Love the lipstick 🥰
I don't mind your ranting at all, you have a very upbeat personality.😊
My addictive fragrances are: Manifesto YSL, Dior addict and Hypnotic poison. ❤️
Great choices of fragrances! Enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I love Velvet Orchid and Hypnotic Poison so much.
Velvet orchid seems to get a bad wrap but I’m with you, I love it!
Love this video Cherie!! I have some Papillon samples on the way, along with a full bottle of Anubis. Can’t wait to try Bengale Rouge! ❤️
Your lipstick 😍❤ Wonderful list! I neglect Classique Intense too! I think ive worn it once! I love how you showed your honourable mentions, more for us 😃
Haha thanks Ami! 😍
Great list, Cherie! I just picked up Cavalli Nero (on a bit of a whim, kind of randomly) - wow! Stunning! Speaking of stunning, you look so beautiful - that hippie is everything!🥰🥰🥰 Awesome video!
Haha thanks Joss! 💞
Great video and very interesting list! Now I must have Santal Majuscule.🙂
Great list video! Love those!
Very nice. There is a few in there that surprised me and a few I need try. Great list!
Thanks Ryan!
What an amazing collection 🥰I love how you describe perfumes ❤Jean Paul Gaultier Intense is gorgeous! Such a underrated scent...😘 I am currently addicted to Florabotanica 😊
Thank you!! 💞
Love Velvet Orchid and Santal Majascule! I want to try Papillon and Ormande Jayne. Nice selection! ❤️
Definitely try and get your hands on some samples. I wouldn’t consider them to be safe bling buys but I adore them. 💞
You can happily talk about SL Santal Majascule all day long if you wish! I will be here listening intently as I love it too. 😁
Glad to see the Dior Hypnotic Poison on the list. I love it when I spelled during my store visits; bought a 5oz bottle.
That’s a LOT of hypnotic poison!! Haha glad you love it 💞
Just discovered your channel, how was I not subscribed before! Great scents! Love Gourmand Coquin!
Thank you! 😃
Wonderful fragrances Cherie really enjoyed watching ❤️
Thank you so much 🤗
I love your review and your personality. I try to catch with every your reviews. (The last perfume in particular, is quite interesting, now I need to try it)
Oh thank you! Yes the Miranda is lovely! I owe my discovery of that fragrance to the lovely @niche_rare_fragrances on instagram :)
I really like list videos like this. Thank you for reminding me of Au Coeur du Desert, which I've been meaning to get my nose on for months now. BTW, the chocolate rant cracked me up. 😂😂 Once I got past the blasphemy of "no chocolate croissants", that is. 😉
Lol! I’m glad you got a giggle, I nearly cut that out but I’m glad I left it in haha I have a confession to make though, Breads Bakery in NYC makes a Babka that I absolutely LOVE- but that is my one and only exception! 😅
Hi,
I have just discovered you, I laughed with that funny cap of the last fragrance, God bless you!
Nice, enjoyable atmosphere, I like the colour of your lipstick💄, what is it?
Looking forward to your next video🎥!
Greetings from🇬🇷 Hellas!
Lol! 🙈 I think the lipstick i was wearing in this one is “Red Carpet” by Bobby Brown 💞
I concur Au Couer certainly can cause compulsive collusion of c'mind and c'nose😃. Lovely video!
😂💕
A lot of excellent-sounding perfumes that I need to check out...starting with the Guerlain. 🙂I've got samples of L'Air du Desert Morocain and Une Rose de Kandahar (both of which are amazing), but not Au Coeur du Desert. Thanks for the wonderful review and I hope you have a terrific last weekend of winter!
I own “Au Coeur du Desert” by Tauer, best dam Amber scent on the planet. This is the extract version of L’Air Du Desert. It doesn’t have the same sillage as the extract version. If you sampled the lesser concentration, and found it strong enough you, you could pass on the extract version. Although I should add, the EDT version opens up more dimensionally, as opposed to the extract version which remains more linear.
I absolutely agree with you! I do have both but only because my partner prefers LDDM and I prefer ACDD. It’s nice to have the option of both but definitely don’t “need” them 😍
I just got esse strikes miranda, reminds me of softer version Intense Cafe, love at first sniff in stunning Italian glass xx
The strength of our associations are definitely in direct proportion to the amount of emotion involved! It's the old cliche of girl meets boy, girl hates boy, boy and girl go through an emotional experience and suddenly they love each other. 😂 There is more to the story however - girl becomes more familiar with boy, boy realizes he's in way over his head, girl wants boy to change, the break up happens but neither can ever seem to get over the other. Swap 'boy' for 'fragrance' and it still works. 🤣 The subconscious controls our lives!
Wow I never thought of it that way! Lol but that actually helps!
OMG, that is exactly what happened to me with an old flame of mine. Exactly like that. (We still see each other after 25 years of friendship, two times of boyfriend/girlfriend status and several occasions of friends with benefits😆🙈)
This was great. I’d love to see your fall favorites.
Great idea!! thank you!
Just discovered your channel and I am so glad I did. I agree with you about how addictive Amouge’s sunshine woman I just love it and I think the tobacco adds to its creaminess actually as its smooth and white tobacco. I have only tried l’air dessert Marocian from Tauer and I also found that to be addictive. I share it with my father actually which is really funny as its the first time I fell head over heels with the same scent as my dad, lol!
Haha that’s awesome! I don’t think my dad would really like any of my fragrances, lol. He’s pretty old school.
I heard about Dior Homme Intense from Maite and from first sniff I was certainly in love! She has a great nose and such interesting choices for woman. I really enjoyed your list. This is my first time watching. Looking forward to more. Dior’s Addict , Gallagher’s Wicked Good are just a few of addictive fragrances for me. Oh and I just smelt BDK Rouge Smoking and I fell in love. Have you tried Penhaligon’s Cairo? So so very nice!
Thanks! Yes love Maite! yes I have Cairo! It’s amazing! 😃
I see you and i see addictive... yes !!! ❤️
Haha!
Trouble/Boucheron is reeeally addictive😊
Love list videos, Cherie! Don't understand why they're so controversial...
Me too actually. They are fun to watch (and fun to create!)
You’re my favourite.you’re so natural
You are too kind. Thank you for your support 🙏🤗
Good evening. I'm a new subscriber. You're a beautiful lady. Very cool and calm, soothing.
Hello there from the netherlands, i dont get a playdo vibe from hypnotice poison, love the perfums
Thank you Brigitte!
Wow Cherie, what a list! After watching this, I definitely need a bottle of Santal Mujuscule. My recent addiction is ANI by Nishane, the best and most interesting vanilla I have ever smelled. IMHO😁 And thank you for the great video!
I’ve got to agree with you about “Ani” by Nishane, a beauty I own and enjoy. Talking about lovely vanilla scents, have you tried “The dance of the Dragonfly” (translated) by Nobile 1942? Dare I say, in my humble opinion, the best vanilla scent out on the market. I own it in the Extract version.
@@MC-iw6nv No, I haven't unfortunately. However, now I am very interested to try it! Thanks for the recommendation!😉
Jelena Markovic 😉 You’re so welcome. I love the red juicy apple note mixed with creamy vanilla..so so good. Both EDP or extract version hit the spot.. www.luckyscent.com/product/52310/la-danza-delle-libellule-by-nobile-1942
@@MC-iw6nv thanks for the link. This is now on my wish list!
I truly adore Dior Dolce Vita
Love your voice and the sexy way you described some of your loves, made me want to rush out and buy Hynoptic Poison. I used to have this, the original when it was first released and Myers and DJ had them everywhere. Is there a difference between edp and edt?
haha thanks Jacqueline, you are too kind! You know I did choose the edt after smelling both that and the edp, but now I cant remember what the edp smelled like for me and why I chose this one! I should revisit!
I love Sunshine and Tolu. I decided to wear my Mini Roberto Cavalli Nero after watching this.
Yay! Wear all the perfume!! 😃💞
I need to know what lipstick you’re wearing…oh God it’s soooo gorgeous
Haha I believe that one was Bobby Brown "Red Carpet"
DHI on the sideline? 😭😭
🤣
Love Bengal Rouge! It will be my birthday buy this year😁
Only for the “addictive” category Brandon! Oooh nice enjoy!
I don’t know why Santal Majuscule is never in stock!!! Well it is REALLY GOOD!! That’s why maybe... can’t wait to get that!!!!!
Haha Paola - well now you know! 🤪💞
New subscriber and I was 100% on board until the chocolate rant. 😔 😔 😔
Now I don't know what to believe. 😂
haha I understand. I will try to keep my chocolate/bread rants to a minimum 💕😜
Wonderful video! I love your accent and could listen to you all day! 😊 I live in Miami, Florida and we don't have a fall or winter since its summer all year round. I don't care and will wear these types of perfumes anyway! I've been hearing great things about the Tauer fragrance you talked about. Do you think it's a safe blind buy?
Thanks! I wouldn’t consider the Tauer to be a safe blind buy. Some people really don’t like it. I did order samples directly from his website a couple of years ago, I’m not sure if he still sells them that way but I would definitely try to get your hands on a sample first
@@TheTopNote I will sample first. Thank you!❤
@@mnlewis Hi 👋, I'm also from Miami, Florida. Cheers 🥂
@@katycanino1566 Hi Katy! Cheers!🖐🏽
Has anyone tried YSL Manifesto?? I dont know the notes 😛 but its sweet and divine!! Worth a try!!! I love it!! Its much like Hypnotic Poison
It’s so common in Aussie and nz that no one likes to compliment fragrances !! I noticed this too. It’s so sad. I love to know if something smells good to others but only maybe got around 10 compliments ever in my life! 😢and got such a large collection
haha sometimes I have complimented others and they thought it was weird that someone would comment on their smell. I suppose to some it seems strangely intimate or something.
Oud Mineral Tom Ford, L'Autre Oud Lancome, Jungle Gardenia, Delina Exclusif, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Poison Dior parfum, Oud Musk Kilian.
I’m taking it that these are ones you have fallen out of love with? I remembering wanting Giorgio BH for so long but I never got a bottle. I’m curious to check it again to see if I still like it haha
The tobacco is overwhelming for me in the Amouage. I didn’t like it at all but maybe I should’ve given it a second chance.
As for tobacco I love Chergui, I had a decant of Sunshine and I wore it several times and I just couldn’t be a big fan of it, every time after a few hours I wished I had put something else on... so I sold what remained. However I think I maybe had more of an issue with the osmanthus than the tobacco.
Chergui is also amazing but very different from SW for sure! I love them both. Chergui is a dress up fancy fragrance 😍
Cinema by YSL smells so much like Classique Essence. I love both but don't need both.
Slumberhouse Ore. Mother of god, it's good! And I don't even care for chocolate that much.
Oh I’ve been curious about that Slumberhouse...👀
An addictive scent that I'm reaching for is Guerlain Angelique Noire. Have you tried it? Its beautiful!😊
Yes I do own that one- love Angelique Noire! I haven’t worn it in ages though, I should revisit!
I NEED HELP PLEASE!!! I’m looking for a gift for my mom who is in her late 50s. She is kind, simple, caring and soft hearted. What do you recommend. I think she would prefer something that is not strong or too sweet. I think something classic would be great for her. Something that is great in hot summer weather but also can be use in colder days. Something she can wear daily anytime and any occasion.
Haha oh dear this is always hard because you can never know how people will react to different smells but I will try to give some suggestions that are easy to source and for the most part, well loved. Hopefully a good starting point for you at least- off the top of my head, based on what you describe I think Chanel No.5 Eau Premiere might be a good one to sample and see if it works, or possibly Bois Des Iles from the exclusifs line if your budget extends that far. Alternatively you could go with something like 24 Faubourg by Hermes or something more modern but still classic: Infusions D’Iris by Prada. Of course with limited information it’s hard to make suggestions but These should all be pretty easy to find and test. Please, please make sure you sample or smell whatever you are considering before buying! Good luck!
🥰 JML Blue Agava & Cacao 😋
I have not smelled that one!
TheTopNote it’s on their website archive collection. It brings me to my happy place. Lots of coins for day/night/bedtime. Too bad it’s just a cologne (body mist)😊
Do I see Shalimar at the top in the back ground?
You see several! 🤪
Can I request you review Chanel’s 1957
I purchased this scent straight from Chanel’s website. And to be honest with you I returned it for a refund. It’s a white floral, a bit soapy, flowery scent. Ordinary, this would be right up my alley. However, in my opinion, it leaned more on the synthetic side, too many notes, which in the end gave me a headache. Are you into white florals, or do you have a likings for a certain favorite notes instead?
M C haha no I can totally get how this might give you a headache, but for me I get some honey in the opening and for the rest it’s mostly white musks and white florals. It’s just a clean fragrance that I go VERY light on the trigger, two sprays max. It is a little synthetic, but not too much imo, and I don’t get a ton of notes, I mostly get some honey, white florals, white musk, and orris! Orris was actually a note I had never smelled before so I really enjoyed that as well!
CLS63AMG WAGON Yes, I totally get the clean musky white floral, very heavy though and powdery, with longevity and decent sillage. I prefer more natural scents, from Indie Niche Houses like Francesca Bianchi, Ex Idolo, Exaltatum, Tauer and Hiram Green, to mention a few. This is why I believe, I can quickly pick up on watered down mix medium synthetic made fragrances from Designer Houses, which I steer right away from, unless I pick up a vintage from EBay. Some Designer Houses like Dior, Chanel and Guerlain sadly, have watered down butchered reformulated their fragrances for the worse, a shadow of their former self. For this reason many fragrance connoisseurs have turned to new and exciting Niche Houses like Centuari, Fort and Manle, Nobile 1942, Papillon to mention a few for the really good stuff..
M C yeah to be honest I’ve only heard of a few of the fragrances you’ve mentioned, I’m still a beginner. But yeah I’ve heard the same things about the new formulations of Dior prive, Chanel exclusifs, geurlain, etc
CLS63AMG WAGON Oh yes they have been massacred. Since 2005, our buddy IFRA, has been systematically destroying, over the many years, every classic fragrance House out there. Replacing nature ingredients notes/oils for synthetics. Ironically in their “persuade” to eliminate the allergic reaction factor, they have created fragrances that give certain individuals, like myself, headaches, rashes and asthma. Since you’re a newie, can I make a few suggestions into the world of Indie Houses? The experience is quite surreal. Masque Milano, Francesca Bianchi, Exaltatum, St Clair and Centauri. Really nice intro.
U r beautiful 😍🌹🌹🌹
