I stopped seeing my primary care doctor too! He speaking truth! I have pica n she gives me iron pills too treat my anemia but pica there's no cure so I said whats the point! She let the mental health industry just fail me. They saw my schitzo and said tht needs to be taken care of first even though i am in n out the hospital for pica/anemia! N I don't do blood transfusion. United states is playing with my health. Cuz where in the dsm-5 does is say which mental illness comes first????they all need to be addressed at the same time or I'm going to die! The health care a joke.

I have sickle cell disease. Its beyond painful. I'm up watching videos waiting on my meds to kick in. Praying it does soon because I don't want to go to the ER at all. They treat sickle cell patients horribly. Getting a good doctor who will treat you & understands sickle cell as far as ER docs is like a 2% out of 100% chance. Just sad. I'm doing all I can to bring awareness to it because we are dying for absolutely no reason. I was found unresponsive and remained in a 5 day coma in 2017 because my body couldn't handle the pain I was in anymore. Now its started to affect my heart. I had a heart attack on Jan 21st according to the ER doctor yet I was sent home after 5 hours of being there.
Trick daddy needs to take care of himself. Yes, medication side effects seem to outweigh the benefits but he needs to do what he should so that his lupus won't flare up.
I have a friend who I've known since we were 16 and out of nowhere about 5 years ago she found out she had lupus. Despite her complaints of pain they don't give her anything. It took me close to 10 years to find a doctor (hematologist) who cares and does his job!

Lupus is no joke, its very serious. I truly understand where Trick is coming from. I lost my oldest daughter to lupus 5 years ago. My baby was diagnosed at 15 and was told she wouldn't live after 6 months. She did live for another 4 in a half years. To see my baby go from playing basketball and volunteering to tutor the youth, to spending her last year of life in a hospital bed in constant pain is a memory I will never forget

That's what I'm saying. Lupus can attack your body in different ways. Some people end up needing a damn lung transplant or a kidney transplant and these people are talking about side effects. Lupus alone without meds can be life or death for people.
