KY is still adjusting to the college game just like Egor and Catchings. If he was a seasoned college HC and they were upper classmen, I'd be more concerned. They are a lot closer than we are giving them. Outside Houston and Providence games, BYU has been in every game. I think it is coming more clear to the team that Richie Saunders is the guy that needs to get more looks.
Egor is good at driving to the basket, and his passing reminds me of Magic Johnson. His three point shooting at this stage has a lot to be desired. Egor is the wild card. If he continues to improve his passing, shooting, and defense, BYU can do some damage in the ncaa tournament.
Egors ceiling is higher than anyone else on the hardwood but he’s been poor especially offensively. Richie Saunders has the highest floor and he’s been the most consistent
I can hear the frustration in your voices. I don’t blame you for that. We as fans are just as frustrated. There are guys on the bench who are ready to show what they can do and are only getting minimal time on the floor. We need the starters to step up or step off. Just saying.
I agree with you. It appears to me that KY has a bit to learn. The dynamic duo has not developed as projected. Is it a freshman thing or a coaching thing. Calapari had the same problem at Kentucky. When you hang your hat on freshmen, you better be prepared to develop them fast; That means hard games to start and probably losses.
Egor was awesome at Colorado.

If richie saunders needs more looks than that means the team is in bad shape lol
@ wdym he’s easily been the most efficient and best offensive piece on the team. He averages 21 ppg when he shoots at least 10 shots.
