Old Pakistani Dramas and actors were far better than today we Pakistanis believe that our Drama industry deterorated, we use to have only one state channel called PTV and during 80's and 90's we PTV produced legendary actors and Dramaz. If someone from India is interested I would suggest you old Pakistani Dramaz like Tanhaaiyaan, Dhoop kinaray, Waris, Jaangloos, piyaas, and many more.

In Indian serials you will find everything in a single serial.comedy, romance,drama etc.But in Pakistan romance and comedy is rare.Also Indians invests a lot in the serials , specially on costumes but in Pakistani dramas costumes are not well.Indian actresses are really good in terms of acting.In pakistan only actors are good ,but in India actors and actresses are superb.So I will go for Indian serials.

Pakistanis and Northwest Indians (Indian Kashmiris, Punjabis, Himachalis, Haryanvis) are far better looking than people from Bengal, U.P., Bihar, Tamil Nadu etc. Look at your Hindi film industry since 1940s, it is mostly dominated by Pathans and Punjabis and some of the most beautiful and handsome actresses and actors of the past had their roots in present day Pakistan or were Punjabis or Pathans or Sindhis. Kapoors family, Juhi Chawla, Madhubala, Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar, Kamini Kaushal, Ranveer Shorey, Kiara Advani, Suraiya, Nargis, Noor Jehan, Hrithik Roshan and countless others.

I think the problem is somewhere else. Talent is there in Indian actors too, and no way they are any less. We have good directors and script writers as well. But as it seems the daily serials are not the niche where they find their jobs. The better actors and filmmakers find their space in some movies and OTT platforms. Where as, the daily serials serve melodrama. But why to blame the drama makers when the general population is consuming them. Being a Bengali, I find the Zee Bangla serials hilarious and comical most of the time. But who am I to say anything when every Bengali household is going crazy after these serials!!
