The river can get bigger and it is and open world so you can scroll up and down till you get to an ocean. I think you can make the river with pen tool, and with like a tick generator you can make the depth expand. Also you can have items to place dams to block of water making another river. There is also a chance your river turns into a pond. BONUS: there are ships and other items you can use. Finally the end. I know this is hard to code and can take multiple months but it would be a cool game. (note: idk if this is possible)
