I ain't Messin around this Garden season. I'm going to grow mostly San Marzano cuz Brandywine and beefsteak they're nice to have for sammiches, but they're not really that good for making sauces right ? Too much liquid. They're okay but it takes more time to make and you got to evaporate most of the water out of the tomatoes to make it thick. I am going to try to buy online seeds from Italy. Same here, my pizza is almost 100% italian i use italian sea salt, italian dried yeast, i just need to fin dop mozzarella di bufala and i got a 100% italian pizza. Including the hands that make them hehehe
At my house there is no gravy without the San Marzano tomatoes grown in the volcanic soils. There is NO comparison. If you ever done it any other way, you did it WRONG.
