    Present Progressive Test (Key)
    1. What is happening in the videos? Choose from these verbs: cross, take, hide.
    a) She is taking a picture of her cake.
    b) They are crossing the street.
    c) The mom is hiding behind the bush.
    2. Write questions. Use the present continuous.
    a) What’s the matter? Why are you crying? (why / you / cry?)
    b) I haven’t seen you for ages. What are you doing these days? (what / you / do / these days?)
    c) Where’s your father? Is he working today? (he / work / today?)
    3. Put the verb into the correct form based on the meaning of the sentence, positive (I am doing) or negative (I am not doing).
    a) Jane started these classes recently. She is learning (She / learn) Spanish.
    b) My aunt and uncle have had an argument now. They are not speaking (they / speak) to one another.
    c) The dishwasher has been repaired. It is working (It / work) now.
    d) Mike is a student, but he is not very happy. He is not enjoying (He / enjoy) his course.
