Thank you for explaining how the sugar mixed with egg yolks can denature after a while! I always thought it was a temperature thing but that makes so much sense 🤯
Thanks for this video Lindsay, My son and I have our first batch of this in the fridge chilling and will fire up his new Cuisinart machine later tonight.
wonderful video and thank you! I can't wait to try it! the only thing to change is a better Microphone. you sound like you are in a chamber. Either a collar mic or a boom mic. It would make you sound incredible and inviting.....
Hi Justin! While you can make ice cream without eggs, it will not be as creamy and rich. I always use an egg yolk based custard. I couldn't recommend it enough! However, if you're looking for a recipe without eggs, why not go for a sorbet? This is my favorite one! cheflindseyfarr.com/raspberry-sorbet/
@@ChefLindseyFarrlol I beg to differ. I've had ice cream without the eggs and it tastes very creamy. Haha I do feel that the eggs does make it taste custardy
Wow this is interesting to see your way of making vanilla ice cream. I just made mine this week; check it out too I enjoy watching your videos! subbed as well

What will happen if I put whole eggs
It won’t be quite as thick and creamy, but it will still be darn good 😊
Thank you for the helpful video

I’m scared to try that. I don’t think eggs are supposed to go in ice cream

@@kidz919 To each their own!
@@ChefLindseyFarr lol but hey I'm not knocking you though. Everyone's got their own taste buds
The eggs make it custard instead of ice cream.
Ben & Jerry's begs to differ.

Sounds great!
I'm uncomfortable with you touching your hair so much while you're cooking. perhaps wear a ponytail in the future😁
Good thing I'm the only one eating the ice cream!
I'm uncomfortable with your discomfort. Be more comfortable in the future.
I saw that also😂Good she is the only one eating it. No loose hair strands. That's why I never ate everyone's potluck dish. The ice cream looks good!
Sounds and looks about wight!
Glad you agree!
Will you marry me?
Already married to my husband!
Dang! Haha. Good for him.
