It is clear that both the RF and the other model, nobody wants to lose, both are the same dog with different collars, so the colors were made for taste..👌
Rag top every time it's how the MX was designed ever other style are nice but market extenders not the original concept of light, top down ,two seat roadster that's fun to drive with mountains of feed back.
Direct injection engines do suffer from carbon deposits more than and sooner than port injected ones. The only workaround is to decarbonize more often, maybe every 50,000 miles instead of say 100,000 miles. It really depends on the make or brand. My 2013 Mazda 3 was decarbonize at 65,000 miles for instance. It's just something you have to live with. But the pros of direct injection far outweighs the cons. Others just use catch cans and what have you.
You are disconnecting the feel of the car to the driver. I understand most drivers opt for the auto due to traffic. The clutch is very light / the shift pattern is easy & overall even in traffic the manual is good. Where it really shines is getting to the back roads & the twisted areas. I live in the Chicagoland area & the traffic is often bumper to bumper for miles ! So much more engaging to put your hand into the soul of the car ! Its the feeling you get going from one turn to another downshifting to accelerate out of into the next. This car is robbed of its character by a automatic transmission. Owner of a 2016 Club soft top with the Brembo / BBS package as a Daily drive in 4 season Northern Illinois. So much more fun in a manual transmission.
@@DB-yi5sm Its loud in both versions who are you trying to BS ? A recent test put the decibels down just a few for the RF with the Top up VS the soft top. The overall open soft top has views that don't have obstructions like the RF ! Also with the top open the RF has buffeting wind whistling thru the cabin at speeds above 45 mph. Plus the weight penalty & the extra cost ... no thank you to the RF & I live in 4 season Northern Illinois daily driving my 2016 Club soft top ! Winter tires transform this car into a beast in the snow & ice !
Actually there was a 700 HP Hellcat engine put into a 1st generation NA. Basically a drift car that tore the tires off in less than 2 minutes. Do a search on it you will see it !

Wondering if anyone has problem with the engine carboning up due to the direct injection?

Did you talk anywhere in this vid about the RF versus the convertible as stated in the title?

@@TrackWorthy barely touches the topic. What a waste of time.
It's literally in the title "part 2... Soft top" obviously part 1 is the hard top. Just watch both and make your own conclusions.
@@domtrann it gives you pros and cons of both.
What do you think about it being automatic instead of stick

I’m new to Mazda but I was under the impression is was Mauzda not Maaazda
Mazda, Mauzda, and Maaazda all look and drive the same. At one time or another I have driven all three.
ST is the way to go 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Some people don't want a loud interior.
Saw you in Orleans in Cape Cod today nice car
@@DB-yi5sm hard top is 5-10 decibels louder than soft top
Not if you want soft top

Je suis très satisfait de ma mx5 2019 avec le moteur de 181 HP je j'ai hâte qu'il la sorte avec le moteur turbo j'espère pour 2021
Lol ain't gonna happen buddy. Mazda doesn't play the turbo game with the Miata.
WTF V8?
Yeah?

So ?
Channel is called track worthy, says nothing about track use. Typical baby boomer crap.
DrBones tossa
Maazda. What is that? What is wrong with you?!
That’s how peeps in Canada say Mazda
Matsuda is about how people in Japan say it, btw.
