This is quite serious of an addiction. I am almost 16, but I can confirm that it has been quite hard for me to leave such an horrible addiction. For me, this is even more addictive than drugs nowadays. I absolutely hate those who made this kind of disgusting and horrifying thing publicly available among the mass people. I now want to control myself for good now as of writing this. And please, do not hate me for this. This is already the worst addiction anyone can have right now.
My dear brothers and sisters, I would highly recommend you all to recite the Al-Quran, offer Salat 5 times, study or do your work properly and do something like regular physical exercise every single day. Quit being so much involved on the internet as we all have a life outside of it. Do pray for me and for every Muslim who is/had suffered from such a dangerous addiction. May Allah S.W.T guide me aswell as all of us to the right path.

Do some meditation daily for a hour in the morning. And pranayama like anulom vilom. Do it daily. Better would be if you get with a meditation camp nearby. You will be healed of depression, anxiety and every emotional disorder. It has been studied and proved that meditation can change the brain structure within six weeks. You can look it up.
Meditation will be very hard in the start, but gets easier.
Marriage whether 1,2,3 or 4 is a very important part of treatment along with councelling and support for such cases. If you don't prescribe this then all treatments are just like pain reliefs.

For others who are addicted to the more heavily n-rated stuff, marriage would likely still provide the same comfort, though other psychological side-effects may remain. Perhaps therapy can assist in untying those particular knots for good.

The biggest thing that helped stop many addictions for me is salah, I would feel immense regret and over time I sinned less. Also I guess quran recitation, it speaks and softens your heart I think.

The best way to overcome this addiction is to go on semen retention for a year or so and then get married because there's always chances of hyper-libido arising due to a healthy lifestyle which can lead the man into real life zina which is more heinous. Unfortunately settling down with a good career and getting married is really really difficult nowadays, this further leads into fitnah.

Coming from a guy who also used to watch Porn i can tell once you see and feel it for the first time its addicting but once you realize what it does to your mind you start to struggle to ignore pornography especially if you do daily but all i recommend is dont use internet for a couple of days and do what you love like hang out with friends, pray, read quran and do sports this helped me overcome my addiction to pornography

A few tips for parents as I also work with people help quit porn addiction. There was a guy who was addicted to porn, upon my interrogation I found that when he was a kid, his mother would come out naked from the bathroom in front of kids thinking they're too small. Secondly, make sure your kids don't see you while you're in intercourse. There was also a case where parents of this girl were always fighting and verbally abusing each other almost every single day when she was a kid. When children like this are grown-up they are shy, introvert and always having a battle with themselves in their head and many a times they go suicidal too. Please pay attention to your kids from the very beginning.

@ynotamin yes they are two different things but that doesn't make porn wrong. Porn is simply a recording of two people having sex or being initimate (a perfect natural and good thing to do). Some people choose to share this intimacy for others to view, others don't. Some people prefer to eat in public, other's prefer to eat alone, other choose to record themselves eating for other people's viewing pleasure. It's either the sex is wrong or right but the media can never be wrong, because media is neutral, unless the people didn't want themselves to be recorded.
If two people were having sex in front of me I'd turn my head same way I won't stare a people eating food but I'd happily watch people eat food on screen- does that mean watching people eat food is wrong because I'd give people privacy to eat food in real life? Nope. It's exactly the same with porn because eating food and having sex are both natural human functions and are good things to do for a fulfilling life - watching it on screen doesn't change this whatsoever

The root cause of this disaster in muslim community is the only one that is late marriage..the only reason muslim men are losing everything now a days. Don't ever go near the things that triggered you without ayatul kursi. The shaytan or your own evil self can't harm you. And imagine the situation where you again turn to the sin, the shaytan swarming around you happily, while you are sinking in distress and guilty.

It's not a sham. This is how modern society is and things like that change. Below 18 is not an adult. This is not 1000 years ago. Even 20 year olds today are like teenagers. Islam even says to follow the law of the land. The law says that under 18 is a child.

Growing up in a village or in a lower class family kinda makes people grow up faster. They mature differently. They have to take on more responsibility earlier too. So it makes sense for them to get married pretty young. Can't use the same standards for the whole world. Not everyone is mentally matured by 16 or 18. There are kids that grow up rich in Pakistan and they are definitely not getting married that young.

Biology remains the same everywhere and yes a person can be legally a minor and legally ready for marriage. But it's rare nowadays to find minors that are ready for marriage. Generally those minors that are ready for marriage exist in the environments that I mentioned. 1400 years ago people had families in their teenage years. They were mentally different back then. People would be ready for marriage by 15. It's just not the case in modern day society and I don't see a problem with that. Islam doesn't obligate marriage and certainly not by a particular age.

My advice to brothers who struggle with this disease is to make dhikr. Before I found the light of Islam I also suffered with this evil addiction. I sincerely asked Allah for help, made dhikr at least one hundred of times daily and recited Quran. One night after asking for forgiveness, I fell asleep and felt a strong healing sensation. Making remembrance of Allah removed many of my old vices.
The internet can truly be an evil place, tempting us into sin. I think this is a hard test for us believers. At any second, filth can appear on our screens, even without us searching for it. No generation has ever been able to witness adultery in a split second, on demand. For any brother reading this struggling, may Allah grant you the strength to remove this abomination from your life.
You need willpower and strength. There is no power nor strength except by Allah.

Simply believe that only a weak person is vulnerable to porn, and then ask yourself, "Am I really a weak person?" Is this how I want to be in the future? How do I envision my life in the next ten years? You need to believe in yourself and stop allowing porn control you; you should be in charge, not the other way around. You are in control, and you decide whether or not to watch it.
Make dua everyday and also ask during tahajjud for Allah to help you get rid of the addiction. Also put in the effort of not trying to watch it and slowly you’ll stop completely.

Struggling for 4 years now since I was 16 and haven't been able to quit. Longest I went was 3 months and then I broke, and trust me, when you break its like a boulder rolling down a hill. It just keeps going and going and going and you can't control yourself, you do whatever you can spiritually, psychologically, and physically to stop it but you keep doing it and doing it and doing it. To any parents who have kids who are addicted, please do not blame and insult them. They need someone who will listen and help them, the only thing that will happen from yelling and insulting them is damaging them further and making them more suicidal.

My wife is a feminist idiot and I tried to limit internet on my son's laptop but she objected and gave him full internet. After a couple of years my daughter found porn on my son's phone. My wife was worried - alhmdulillah i think he's ok now. When you have a husband who's doing the right thing, be thankful to Allah instead of being an idiot.

First of all I am actually shock that a 10 year old watching a porn it’s very heartbreaking but I have learn a trick if anyone is facing any addiction problem, whatever addiction it is, and the trick is if you did any sin immediately pray 2 Rakat and do Istighfar , if you sin again then pray 2 2 Rakat , every time you sin increase your Ibadah , and a time will come that Saytaan will going to stop you from Ibadah and not make you sin. May Allah protect us
