I love the design of this inside and out. I'm not saying it looks like a Bentley, but it looks like a plush luxury car like an early noughties Arnage does. I also like that it does not at all look sportly or aggressive - just a slight hint of chintz but without looking like a Cartier edition might be in the works. Its old school luxury - comfort, light leathers, lashings of wood, actual sidewall... I work in a dealership for one of the german brands and to me this is so much more appealing than the frigging touchscreen everything, black on black interiors, fake sportsline trim and default resale grey 'Prestige' stuff that the Germans are chugging out. Not saying those cars aren't nice in their own way but they definately don't scream luxury to me, rather its just sterile tech that you lease. I'm 34 and not rich though so just my 2c.

What an amazing looking car except for the curved back. I love it still. Most other cars in Australia are boring colours and interiors are black. Depression to the Max.

We get a 2.2D option for this in Korea and the G80E is right around the corner. Maybe Australia will get these options too.

They actually need a 4L turbo V8 (under 100k) then watch it sell. RWD will be fine to keep costs and weight down.

Fact : Hyundai sold 43 G70 at a launch year. (Hyundai opened flagship Genesis store at Pitt st arcade-mall for launching this car). G80? I think Hyundai can sell roughly 20-30 cars in Aussie market this year. In Carsales website, G80 2018-2019 demo stocks didn't sell out yet.

@@danmccarthy4700 that's a lot of mileage. It doesn't seem like much to US folk/UK folk because that's not as the 100k mile mark. But here in Australia atleast, 100k Km is when most are traded or sold which is 62500 miles.

At 7:36 is reported that it has 15 cubic feet or 424 liters of trunk or boot space. This is the typical FAKE GOURMET sedan, the one that comes ready to be swallowed by an SUV. In the ranking of decent sedans (TOP 500 SEDANS) with a trunk capacity above 500 liters or 17.6 cubic feet it does not enter. The trunk of this car is smaller than the trunk of the Renault Megane, a HATCHBACK sold in Australia which has a trunk of 434 liters or 15.3 cubic feet of capacity.
