    4421 is a fast bus. That was a Ferrier bus for the longest time now it’s at Andrews.

      Buses 4420 to 4424 were Ferrier buses up from when they were new in 2004 until the 7000 series arrived in 2018.
      Then they were transferred to Westwood before going to Andrews a little while after.

    5:19 how interesting that you have caught a D40LF running on Charter service, never seen it before in the channel. Where was the charter headed?

      @TransitEmperor4774  20 дней назад +1

      That's a good question.
      I was on my lunch break when that was filmed, so I didn't get a close look as to how many people there were or who was inside when it turned.

      @@NoorAli-mj2rb It is a possibility. The NAIT campus is not too far away from where I filmed that.

    I think you've filmed an owl bus too.

      I want to know. What is it? What is an owl bus?

    • @TransitEmperor4774
      @TransitEmperor4774  20 дней назад

      @@Rick-C-117 OWL is the official name of overnight routes operated by Edmonton Transit. Routes 2 and 9 continue into the night as the 2-OWL and the 9-OWL until about 3:30AM daily.
      Routes 4, 8 and 511 also operate during that time, but they don't have that branding for some odd reason.

      @naussica05 Good observation! Yes, I filmed one last year as well.

      The 511 does say owl on the destination sign following the number. I have tons of pictures of buses as I’ve always been interested in them. I don’t know why haha. It’s just the 4 and the 8 that don’t have it. I’m also a bit puzzled by that.

    • @TransitEmperor4774
      @TransitEmperor4774  18 дней назад

      @@roberthall9061 Oh yes, my mistake! The 511 does display OWL on the sign.
      Maybe they didn't want to install more codes in the destination signs, hence the deal with the 4 and 8? Or perhaps it wouldn't fit on the sign?

    I live in Edmonton region (St. Albert) and have not yet seen the new street car. And it has been over a year they are running :(

      Believe me, Valley Line trains are quite fun to ride.
      If you have time to ride it, I recommend boarding at the Churchill Connector and taking it down to Mill Woods Station. That way, you pretty much see everything the line has to offer.

      @@TransitEmperor4774 I'll try or send my dad. Somehow South East quadrant of the city is out of my way completely. I am commuting St. Albert to University, and go West and North sometimes, but been to Millwoods like twice in 20 years :)

      @@dmitripogosian5084 I understand completely. Sometimes, people don't frequent certain areas of the city.
      Quite frankly, the only reason I go around the city so much is because of my channel. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be doing very much.
