I enjoyed her performance better than the original I must say. Sorry about all of the jealous haters in the comments who can't do a fraction of what you just executed in this clip. The proof is in the pudding seeing where you are now in your career versus the keyboard warriors still stuck in the same place they were when they left their mean-spirited comments.
Some of her transitions aren’t clean, but she’s really good. Maybe if the tempo were a tad slower? No reason for the gratuitous triples and quads in the final pass. Michael set doubles and layout for a reason. Again, she’s obviously talented.
she is almost all mic and very little vocal body. I hate those cheek microphones, they make the voice sound god awful and horrible to listen to to. The sound they create is so unnatural. She has a pretty voice, but not a Cassie voice. I saw the original with Donna back in 1979. I listend a little more she dose have substance to her voice both emotional and vocal, but again it sounds like she is singing thru a barrel of hay with that awful cheek mic. Her dancing is very good.
Yea, also this is outside at the Hollywood bowl, so the sound may be weird. Chorus line is supposed to represent real people, so I think it’s ok Cassie sounds different than the original.
@@chaseramelphillips1136 What's NOT okay is having the mic visible. How many auditioners do you know who show up with mikes running down their cheek. This show has to have a base of reality. The original production had NO body mics, not ONE. Abe Jacobs masterfully sound designed the show, no one had any trouble hearing anyone. If this IS the Bowl, then have the mics on the forehead or over the ear.
Saw Sarah Bowden in "Moulin Rouge" in Charlotte, NC last night! What a stand-out! Really can't keep your eyes off her! What a trooper!
The best
Brilliant....👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️💯‼️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️‼️
I've never seen this before! It is the closest to the original choreography that Donna McKechnie performed in the ORIGINAL cast back in the 70s.
No, it is not at all the "closest".
@@haineshiswayDoes it matter?
@@jellyrollnorton Yeah, it matters when someone makes the statement that I was responding to, sure.
ICONIC
fantastic
Great Job! 💃
Way to go Cherry!
