In 100 years quest something big will happen for Natsu...We learn that Igneel real son Ignia is VERY interrested in Natsu, like obsessed, and he's telling other dragon mates to kill everyone except Natsu. Also even if Natsu choose to be human, it got confirmed in this sequel that he's still a demon either way just that he suppressed his own "real self" here. Also Ignia said to the other maze dragon "Don't kill him, I want Natsu to see the world we will make" and, when they both meet again, he's always saying that Natsu is still too weak for them to fight (which is true). SO that's mean that Ignia knows something !

But even if he chooses his heart to be human, his body is still the one of the most powerful demon and he's also still a dragon because of his powers (just he will not become like Acnologia).

Because in dragon ball super, it had a real bad ending and fairy tail at least from my eyes would've happened something similar. It was pretty foolish of Natsu to choose humanity. He could've taken a human form whenever he wanted anyway, had he become a dragon. He gave up all that power for basically nothing.
