I've got a story idea for this song where a guy loses his boyfriend to s**cide and it somehow starts this loop that always ends with the protag dying in a multitude of ways such as drowning, burning, gunshots, poison, eaten by a monster, falling, trying to save someone, etc. All of these deaths are either accidents or someone else's doing. He always wakes up (which is portrayed by the end of each reverse piano note) at wherever his body ended up landing after each death, but instead of him dying, it's someone else, and no one remembers it was supposed to be *him* who had died. At the end of the song, he tries to hang himself just like his boyfriend did, thus breaking the loop. And as he took what was supposed to be his final breath, and stepped forward... *the rope snapped.*
i think "the rope snapped" can mean 2 things the first obviously being suicide, a thing i hope no one will ever have to experience and that im done with experiencing the second being the sort of safety rope of your mental health, the bungee cord that keeps you from falling to your demise, but once that bungee cord snaps its almost impossible to get back onto the ride

And remember, trials and tribulations are only like mountains, when you go through your trials and tribulations, your situations get higher as you overcome your fear and worries. And once you get through that, your problems slowly falls down into happiness. See how it turns from a rising slope to a decreasing slide? It's like a mountain, and once you reach the top... You made it to your destination... It may sound like I'm yapping but trust me life does get better...
Hey great song! Just a tip for future songs, i would reccomend rendering it as a wav file (through fl studio) and then replace the audio from the obs recording with the rendered fl studio wav to get the best audio quality. I have so many problems with obs recordings, especially with more intensive songs lol. Good stuff tho :)

You made this using Claustrophobic Piano didn't you? Those keys have a very terrible distortion problem, I'd suggest either finding an alternative, or finding a way around it. Great composition though.
the piano is in fact the soft piano from spitfire LABS. i believe the distortion you're talking about comes from the dookie recording settings i had at the time or fruity reverb being silly

How did you automate the reversed keys? I've always wanted to do something like that but never knew how. Also this track is wonderful.
i used fruity reeverb 2 with max size and the automation is linked to the wet slider to create the effect:)
