Nice collection, love me some Art Blakey, and Coltrane is one of my fav's too, especially his collaboration with Miles on Kind of Blue, the greatest jazz record of all time IMHO. ❤

Great stuff. I’ve been slowly buying Japanese pressings of Coltrane records when I can find them. Other than Dylan, he’s my most collected artist.

Awesome records - I have that Donald Byrd - one of the first Donald Byrd records I ever got. if you are interested in some new artist vinyl - on the funk and soul side of things - check out Daptone Records, Big Crown Records, or Colemine Records.

The thing that annoys me a bit about modern vinyl is often it is recorded off the digital master. The old stuff, for example, Muddy Waters folk singer, is 100 percent analog . I love that record.

Hey Brother! It's good to see you. I had just commented on another of your videos that was about your father's music collection. I have a few comments on the Stevie Wonder's Songs In The Key of Life lp you purchased that you might find interesting. In the Grammy awards of '77 it was a sweeper, taking the prestigious album of the year and several others. Also, the album did come with a 7"inch 45 that had extra songs and it played at 33 and 1/3rd, like the 12"lps!! Back in the day I thought "Man this is wild!" Others who bought the lp (Mega millions did) I'm sure tripped on this too!
