Did you check the batch codes on any of these products to see when they were made? The Bambi collection came out three years ago and I feel like a few other items here were in boxes two or three years ago. Makes me worry that things were sitting in a warehouse all this time. The bags are nice but they need to spend more time on the contents instead of old things and sheet masks!
Bambi went in the trash. Horrible
My masks in the bag were expired. SMH
I do think it’s ipsys fault that you didn’t get your bag!! They’ve done it to every single other customer! Not to mention that they do it on purpose, so that nobody can review products while they are still available as part of the gimmick to force people in buying crap product. I’ve gotten expired and not active facial products that I’ve purchased from other beauty supply stores and have worked completely differentlyand had the ipsy product not work whatsoever. Customer service is absolute crapshoot and they lie. Straight up one of the worst companies.
Ooh also Sydney and any one else throughout the year, when i get things from my subscriptions, i save a lot of it and make homemade advent calendars for friends. My friends love it!
I liked the 1st bag the marshmallow bag & the last bag the best. I never buy the Mystery bags. I find they r either older items or items that didn’t sell well. But, appreciate u unboxing them. It’s always fun to watch yr videos! TFS! ❤❤

That Jolii lip gloss is one of my favorites. I have bought it again after receiving it in a bag. It smells fantastic also.
My red bag with two zippers on it had all different stuff except the Bambi palette.
I wasn’t thrilled with my mystery bag, but I’m using it to store my makeup. Live and learn.

On the last bag u opened that the lipgloss looked old, you said it went down fine but did it have a funky smell? Whenever I think or it looks old, I always smell the products lol! The smell tells me a lot. I've bought brand new makeup from stores and they are name brands and when I got home, it smelled so old and the one I'm thinking of smelled like stinky old oil! Yuck! So I had to return it. But I'm glad that I got it from the store cause this company doesn't take any return or exchanges. Oh yeah, that is something I learned last year is that there are some cosmetic companies that do not do returns or exchanges even if it is their fault.
That Ofra lip gloss was full size, I looked it up on their website for you, it retails for 15, so at least that was good. I never think that these mystery bags are good. Thanks for sharing. Oh, I don't know if you saw the email yet but for Allure next month you get to choose from one of four ysl lipstick shades.
I haven’t gotten any mystery bags yet bcuz I’m new to Ipsy and have been watching some of ur mystery bags unboxing and I just barely received my first Ipsy glam bag yesterday and love the beautiful lavender shiny bag and still waiting on my boxy charm which is taking forever. I also did purchase some mystery bags it was last week of December so still waiting on those as well. ❤ love hearing others point of view of the products. I’m not an expert at all this will be my first time trying any Ipsy products. I literally don’t have anything from Ipsy so this whole year I will try it out. Also just now saw there are a lot of sheet masks in the bags but I have dry skin so if I receive a lot of masks this year I wouldn’t mind bcuz I don’t buy them and I also don’t have any. So least I’ll be able to stock up if they do.
I also wanted to purchase those 3 mystery bags but sadly they have sold out. But nice to know what’s inside them and hopefully this year they make new stuff or have better stuff, plus not an expert first time trying out Ipsy after watching ur videos.
My masks were expired in that bag with the Bambi palette with all the brushes. It was the same masks you had so please make sure you check the expiration dates on those and everything else. I had ordered 4 different holiday mystery bags and besides those masks, I also ended up with 2 different expired skincare products too. I was fuming. I made them refund my entire order. I won't ever order black Friday or Xmas mystery bags from them again bc it's obviously just them clearing out all their old, expired crap.
they're sealed, nothing is going to happen to them

I don't think sheet masks should count, not exciting at all. I don't get Ipsy anymore because I didn't think it was worth it. I definitely wouldn't appreciate getting old make up!

Mine moisture is very good as an afternoon aswell. As a whole the products they have are very good. I have received alot of their products in sub boxes here in Bulgaria. Spray hairspray on the glittery bag will set the glitter!

I feel like Ipsy just put in whatever products were left over from old Boxycharm boxes and Ipsy glam bags in these mystery bags. And they definitely cheaped out with the sheet masks!! I would check expiration dates on what you can bc I remember getting some of those products in my Boxycharm boxes back before Ipsy bought them out. And the liquid lip that had settled didn’t look right. I don’t know that I would feel comfortable putting that on my lips 🤷♀️ I just don’t think these bags were worth your $$ Ipsy needs to do better! Especially for what they charge 😳 I also like complex culture and I like IBY but they’re not expensive brands by any means. It’s always fun to watch you unbox the items though! Did Ipsy use DHL? I had a lot of Christmas presents that didn’t arrive on time because DHL workers went on strike during Xmas so my stuff sat on hold at a DHL facility for weeks.

Super curious if you got the same stuff I did. I ordered the 2 mystery bags with the burgundy velvet material. I was OK with the contents as I was more excited for the bags. Way better than last year's.
The bags are so cute!! I love the designs. I honestly think the bags have been getting better and better lately. I wonder if its a new designer.

Oh no 😬! These bags were not great at all. I like the bags themselves but that’s it. You did get some really old products Sydney. You’re right about the Aesthetica bronzer. It was from years ago in boxycharm. I love mystery bags/boxes but I won’t spend my money on them again from Ipsy. You can see the worth just isn’t there. And they throw in all these crappy brands and products. Well a few of the brands are good like Ofra! I am happy to get anything from them. Colorop is just meh 🫤 for me. And everything else is a big thumbs down 👎. I have received some of the sample ones in my Glam bags. Ahhhh poor Sydney….you waste your money so we don’t have too. Bless your heart ♥️

I have never been an ipsy fan at all. I don’t like their customer service or at least I didn’t in the past canceled my membership and it was so difficult to do a few years back just not impressed with anything they put out.
