"ballet isn't a modeling business" .... perfect way to put it
It is true, it is not only the body what makes dance but we have to admit that ballet is a visual art and, whether we want it or not, dancers' bodies have a very important role to make a choreography beautiful. I insist, ballet is not only the body, it have the purpose of expressing something, that is the important thing.
(Sorry for my english, it is not my first language)
When she was talking about how being short doesn't matter and that its about dance and this is not a modeling business I was like YAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSS YYYAAAAAASSS PRREEEAACCHHHH
She really is a pint sized powerhouse. Not only is she incredibly strong but there is so much grace and beauty and heart in her moves :)

She is so inspiring! I met her when I was at the San Francisco Ballet summer intensive and she is so humble and nice! She is definitely one of my favorite dancers of all time because she shows that ballet is more than having the perfect body and technique (even though she has both), it is how you present yourself.

This is by far my favorite video so far... I'm no longer a dancer because I had to give it up for my main career.. music. But regardless I feel the same overpowering encouragement related to musicians. It's always hard seeing better people, or being criticized. This was very inspirational! Definitely made my day.
