great video ngl. I've moved from using dpad and controller to keyboard, and it's interesting how I haven't seen much talk of keyboards as opposed to hitboxes (then again, haven't been a part of the deeper FGC for a long time). but also it makes me think about SF6 on the horizon, and how modern controls kinda do all of those inputs in 1 frame as well. a super for instance is just "hold back and press Y + B." I'm wondering if the issue is becoming less of "hitboxes bad" but instead it's becoming a priority to make innovations to make fighting games more accessible and played at a higher level.

in my own scrub opinion, the only argument i rly have against hitboxes is the 4 frame super you included, purely because of how fast it is, not so much the execution and slightly the ease of doing so, however as you pointed out it took a long time. and it is of course good to have for the sake of accessability, for carpal tunnel, other hand or nerve issues, etc. the only thing to know is that if you're really that sour about it, you should get good or try it yourself and see how "easy" it is to have buttons be directions and not the stick.

That being said in SF6 im surprised capcom updated its rules at all on hitbox since doing supers in 1 frame of inputs is now possible with modern controls. Modern controls will still always be weaker than classic but im surprised more people are annoyed at hitbox instead of 1 frame DPs and supers, even if they are weaker seems like they should have a longer startup or something.

For the video i gotta say the production is amazing, almost perfect, the script might need some polishing, felt weird hearing 'Hitbox' so many times in a row, the voice too, it's really complicated to get a good voiceover without an expensive mic, still an amazing job, felt like i was watching an experienced documentary channel

I know there’s a converter for the keyboard to the console, however, I always wanted to try a Hitbox-style controller and yes you can replicate the Hitbox layout on the keyboard but the reason why I used Hitbox is that sometimes I miss inputting the attack buttons because how small the keycaps are and I taught if use arcade buttons instead of keycaps that would make less miss input whenever I played.
