I have the bigger brother the K15. Love it. Your keyboard is fully programmable, Just set Fn1 to Space in VIA. Or to LT(1, KC_Space) by using the Any Key in VIA. (LT stands for layer tap so tapping makes spaces while holding goes to layer 1 )
Thanks, why didn’t I think of this?! I have the Q1 and I’ve programmed some keys on there and I’m also learning how to use a 40% board right now where I have to use VIA daily to program a different key. I love it. And thanks to you I’m gonna take the K11 off eBay right now!
@@KeebHoarder I used a 40% Plank for about one year. if I had the idea to combine it with an extra NUM/Macro-pad for the left hand in the past, I might still be using it.
@@KeebHoarder did this remapping solve your problem? Are you still using and enjoying the K11 Pro? How portable is it? I love using split keyboards for the ergonomics but am not ready to go down the rabbit hole of columnar layouts and minimal keysets-this seems like a great middle-of-the-road option.
Arisu is the Japanese pronunciation of Alice. (Switching the l for an r is common in Japanese and so is ending words in u). Another example is the work black in Japanese is pronounced Burakku as in Blackberry being Burakkuberī
yes you can. in via, on layer 2(use chrome). i swapped fn to space and the space button to left control which is my crouch button. i use this for gaming. its pretty sweet.
Call me crazy but some time ago I picked the Q8 keyboard especially because of the fn1-fn2 position for casual gaming. For me these act as a tiny thumb cluster. 🤷♀
I prefer keycaps that don't shine thru, I like the effect of the light shining between the caps. This stuff is all about preference and the way you like things on your desk. Know what I mean?

Thank you for that, it makes so much more sense after your explanation! I'm really loving the community of keyboard folks I've found on RUclips.
can you reprogram the fn button to be a spacebar? i saw they had software where you can reprogram the buttons

This all checks out
why is it not split into two parts??
Dang man, I wish I could!
i have this keyboard, I want some replacement shine through key caps any ideas? that's for the video
Check out the ones from Womier for around $20 on Amazon. Just search for XVX low profile womier or whatever or let me know and I'll send you the link.
fn1-fn2 position is so… bad
They both stink! I really want to find the right Alice/Arisu for me one day...I know she's out there.

I'm grateful for your video. I checked how I type and that spacebar would definitely be an issue for me. Gonna get the much cheaper k7 pro instead
Glad I could help! Your comment really means a lot to me!!
What’s the point of being rgb if the key caps aren’t backlit?
